Instead of hurting herself, she cried. Every night she would picture the things that hurt her. It would all replay in her brain like a film movie.

The tragic past.

It haunted her.

Ghosts were nothing compared to the emotional scars she hid within her pretty eyes and a fake smile.

One day she took her umbrella and decided to go for a walk in the rain. The rain was so relaxing. She could cry, and no one would judge her.

Her friends, her family, no one.

She had walked as far as her feet could take her, as she tightly grasped onto the umbrella.

She stopped near a river side on top of a bridge. The gray of the water looked so peaceful to her. It made her feel calm, something she desired.

Suddenly the girl broke down, and she couldn't help but pity herself. The umbrella she held was now on the ground. Why was she like this? Why wasn't her life normal? Why couldn't she stop these emotions?

Then, something unexpected happened.

She felt a light hand on her shoulder. A reassuring voice spoke to her as if it was an angel.

"It's ok, you'll be ok. I'm here for you."

Those were the words that comforted her lonely soul. The desire to have someone by her side, knowing she wasn't by herself.
