A LOUD KNOCK on my bedroom door woke me from my horrible sleep."Come on! Let's go, it's almost nine o'clock!" My mother's muffled voice shouted from the other side of my closed door.
With a groan, I rolled over to my side to read my phones time.
Eight thirty.
I rolled my eyes and got up, trudging over to my dresser and began to brush my hair.I had to think about what I was going to say to Cartman when I see him in a few.
Act like we're good again? Or be awkward over the fact yesterday ended so oddly.
I guess I'll see how he acts first, and go from there.I'm sure we'll be fine though.
I slipped on a maroon winter beanie, and fixed the pieces of my hair that stuck out underneath it.
I brushed out my eyebrows and did a little mascara to rid the sleepless look from my tired eyes."Oh yeah," I mumbled to myself in the mirror.
"Definitely lookin' good today." I spoke sarcastically to my figure and looked away before I couldn't stand the sight of looking at myself anymore.Throwing on some black leggings, and some random long T-shirt, I ran down the stairs while hopping each foot into my fluffy knee high socks.
They were so cozy for winter weather.Making my way to the kitchen, I traced the fridge for something good to eat.
As if I had a whole shelf of food on it that I actually found appealing. Ha.I shook my head with frustration and heard a soft knock on the door.
Bet it was Cartman.I trotted up the door and opened it up, letting a smile trace my lips briefly.
"Hey," I greeted him with a quick smile. He could tell I was rushing around trying to be ready in time.
"Well, don't you look fit for the occasion." He smirked up at me from my front steps.I rolled my eyes and let him in.
"Oh yeah. Because I'm just so excited for it." I huffed. I looked around for my shoes to slip on while listening to him."Why don't we just ditch it, and go to the diner?" He asked, watching me struggle to put my boots on.
I glared over my shoulder at him and stood up straight. "His mom is going to be there watching us to make sure our parents know, dumbass."
He frowned. "Oh."
We left the house, and I shut the door behind us. "I still can't believe you shattered his nose. And gave him a black eye!" He exclaimed, looking over at me.
I kept my hands in my pockets and slouched while I walked.
Like I totally wanted to be reminded of what I did."Can we stop talking about this, please? I don't want to think about last night anymore." I remarked, flashing him an irritated frown.
He backed off and nodded, putting his hands up in defense. "Alright, Alright. Sorry." His voice was genuine, not sarcastic.Which was good, because he knew how upset I was over this entire situation.
"Once we get there, be prepared to get dirty looks from his parents." I reminded him, glancing in his direction.
I was too in a hurry when he came to my front door for me to notice how he looked today.
He looked tired, but it didn't look bad on him.He wasn't wearing his hat, resulting in slightly messy brunette hair sitting on top of his head in thick locks.
He wore a grey coat with regular blue jeans, definitely looking better than usual than when he wore his red coat.
