As Jaylee tried to rack her brain for useful Korean words, she kicked the stranger in the back of his knees making him fall. Jaylee saw her opening and started running towards the receptionist's desk. She was almost there when she heard a yell.
"Security!"
Jaylee had no idea what the stranger said, but she could give a pretty good guess considering she saw men the size of bears come towards her. She tried to think of any words she could've heard somewhere that would be useful in this situation. As she turned towards the confused, and slightly scared, receptionist she finally remembered a single word. A single word she thought would save her.
"Egg!" Jaylee exclaimed towards the receptionist, beaming with joy. She was ecstatic that she remembered something that was useful.
Oh how she was so very wrong.
The receptionist looked thoroughly confused and made hand motions for security to walk faster. Security was now jogging over to Jaylee, and to say she was frightened would be the understatement of the century. She almost peed her pants when security finally reached her and roughly started dragging her towards the exit.
She looked at the clock on the wall and noticed that she had missed her appointment with the CEO, and most likely lost her opportunity at getting herself a job.
Until she saw him.
The man she needed to see was stalking towards her. Though short, the man possessed a feeling of power and the feeling you get when you wear fluffy socks.
She waved at him to the best of her ability seeing as her arms were being held back. When Mr.Bang saw Jaylee being dragged away, he almost had a heart attack. That wouldn't have been good. He speed walked over to them and gently pulled Jaylee away from the security guards.
As he shooed the guards away, Jaylee turned around and saw the stranger, the one that called security on her, laying on the couches in the lobby. Being the curious rascal she is, she walked up to him and looked at him from above. He looked a lot less scary when he was sleeping.
She had her hand up ready to poke him, but he suddenly opened his eyes, causing Jaylee to trip backwards and fall on her butt out of shock.
"What were you doing?" The stranger asked Jaylee, yet she had no idea what he was saying. To solve her little predicament, she decided that the best option would be to just walk away, so she did just that. Yeah. That didn't go as planned.
Before Jaylee even had a chance to take a step, the stranger grabbed her wrist and turned her around.
Maybe if Jaylee actually tried to learn Korean at her school then maybe she wouldn't have been in this problem in the first place. Now she is stuck with this crazy, overly touchy stranger who doesn't understand the concept of not knowing Korean." I don't understand Korean, and you probably don't understand English considering the fact that you didn't let me go earlier, so I will just try to explain myself in English, and just hope for the best. Okay? Okay. Well, I have, no, had a meeting with Mr.Bang earlier, but I had gotten lost. So, I resulted in wondering around hoping I would've found an exit or maybe a helpful worker, but sadly, I only ran into you. Darn my luck! You weren't much help and you were only a nuisance. I'm glad you can't understand me right now or you probably would've scolded me already! Anyway, once I bumped into you, you took me away from my destination, and into the hands of the evil bears aka the security guards. Scary right? I should be a movie writer. Is that what they're called? Well, I don't know. You with me so far?", Jaylee asked the man, who for some reason looked mildly annoyed, and she had no idea why. She was just trying to explain herself, and then he turned into annoyed bear mode. Well, he's more like an annoyed teddy bear. Big difference.
The man opened his mouth and said something Jaylee finally understood, which was-
"Idiot"
Jaylee, being the dramatic person she is, faked being hurt by what he said. She fell on her knees and started to fake cry, licking her finger then wiping it down her cheek, so it could be her totally real tears because she is definitely hurt by what he said. Then she saw it. Something she didn't think the man even knew how to do.
He smiled.
