Starting on a Bad Note

It only took about ten minutes to get to school when the bus stopped, slamming on the brakes which shocked me and made my heart skip a beat. I waited for everyone to get off the bus and then I hopped off my seat and whispered to myself 'Here it goes again, another day of school'. I smiled at the bus driver and said thank you to him as I jumped off the bus.

When I started walking to the gate my phone buzzed, stopping me in my spot. I looked at my phone and saw that I had a text from my best friend Destiny saying 'where the hell are you Sarah?! I'm at the canteen,  meet me there! love you xxx'

I trotted into the school gate keeping my head down because it was the safest thing to do. Well it is the safest but probably not the smartest... I bumped into a tall brown haired boy with amazing brown eyes that shined in the sun. It caused me to fall straight onto my bum as I dropped all my books that were in my hands. He quickly dropped down and started passing me my books and said " Omg, Im so sorry. Are you okay?!"

I looked up and mumbled "Im fine..."

He helped me up and smiled at me. I smiled back and walked away, looking at all the slutty, think-they-are-better-than-everyone girls starring and laughing at me. I rolled my eyes and kepted walking down the path.

I kept walking listening to the latest drama that all the girls were talking about. All the girls would go on about all the boys and their boyfriends they have now. Boys never even noticed me... But sometimes I think that was a good thing. I absolutely hate drama! I always try to stay out of it but normally I just get dragged into it. Last year I lost my whole group due to all the drama that the girls caused,  leaving me with only one best friend this year, Destiny. 

Wait! Destiny! Omg I need to find her! I started to speed up myself and finally arriving at the canteen, finding Destiny leaning against a wall next to the girls toilet.

"Destiny", I called out to her. Her head sprang up and she ran towards me.

"Omg Sarah where have you been!", she screamed at me.

"Umm... long story..." The bell rang making us jump. "Let go babe! First day back, we are going to die!", Destiny screamed at me as we parted ways at the canteen. "Dont forget about cheerleading try-outs after school!, I screamed back at her.
