Hey guys I'm just going to let you know that if Jax repeats words in this fic it's because of the stutter that her social anxiety sometimes causes.
-G

I shuffle anxiously as I knock on my new neighbors door. Honestly I was fine with my old neighbors, who had the most annoying kids, over this. I couldn't even see since my sister broke my glasses, so what's the point? This is complete bullshit.
"Hello?"
I'm pulled out of my thoughts by the new neighbors voice.
"Oh uh hi. Im one of your new neighbors. Uh my sis- my sister made these for you. For some fucking reason." I say the last part under my breath as I shove the plate of cupcakes at him.
I hear him give a small laugh. Shit, did he hear me? Well, fuck. Get it together, I tell myself.
"D- don't worry they're not poisoned as far as I know." I joke slightly.
He laughs and I take a deep breath.
"Um we're having some people from the track over tonight for a garage party, a-and you can come. If you wan- if you want to meet anyone."
"I look forward to it. Thanks for the cupcakes." His voice sounds vaguely familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it since I can't see him.
"Um se-see you later." I say awkwardly backing off the doorstep that used to belong to my cousins.
"Bye."
"Sky?!" I call for my dog as I cross the yards.
She immediately joins my side.
"Hey babe." I say I run my fingers through her fur.
"Mind helping me get back home?" My dad was probably done fixing my glasses by now.
I welcome the air conditioning as I walk into the house with Sky in tow.
"Dad? You done yet?"
"Yea they're in the counter."
I rush to the counter and grab my glasses. Shoving them up on my nose I sigh.
"Sight. Oh how I love sight."
I run up the stair to my room. Closing the door quietly, I climb into my bed. All I need right now is some music.
I pull my phone out of my pocket and go to the music app.
Scrolling through my songs I finally settle on the Panic! At The Disco cover of The Greatest Show.
