Protective Dragon pt3

Mokaba's POV

I was listening to my big brother complaining about being surrounded by idiots, when there was a knock on the door "come in" Seto said annoyed. A man with blonde hair and stunning blue eyes walked in "hello Seto, I'm here because I need your help" the man replied. I tilted my head curiously "hello Mokaba" he said smiling at me. "What is it that you need?" My brother asked losing his patience but what the man said next shocked us both "it's about the little hikari Yugi" he responded. "What about him" Seto questioned. "He's being targeted by Yami Marik or Malik as we know him. Right now Yugi is under the protection of Bakura and Baku but it's not enough. Malik nearly destroyed Yugi's light permanently by taking the puzzle and breaking it, without Yami, Yugi's soul was consumed by darkness. He's back with Yami now but we might not be so lucky next time. What I request from you is that you allow Yugi, Bakura and Yugi's friends to stay at your house" he replied. "By the way my name is Warren the Dragon Sorcerer" he announced. I stared intrigued by the title "dragon Sorcerer?" I questioned. He smiled at me "I'll show you little pup" he replied before I felt a weird sensation spread through my body. My size doubled and my body changed. He held up a mirror "uh, I'm a dragon!" I roared. Seto stared shocked "Mokaba?!" He questioned. "And now for you little wolf" Warren said as he turned my big brother into a dragon twice my size. A feeling of desperation flowed through me before I couldn't resist and flew out the window "Mokaba!? Where are you going?" Seto asked concerned. "Something's wrong, I feel like my friend Yugi is in danger!" I shouted as I quickly flew in the direction of our house. I spotted Yugi running away from Malik, he suddenly tripped and I allowed my instincts to take over as I pounced on Malik. "Ahh! Get off me dragon pup!" He growled. I slammed my paw down on his head "did I give you permission to speak?!" I roared in his face. He squeaked and remained silent. "That's better" I said sitting on the yami. My brother didn't have such a graceful landing as he skidded across the ground and slammed into the front door. "Big brother! Are you alright?" I asked concerned. Seto was a stunning white dragon with a brown stripe down his back and light blue stripes on either side of the brown stripe. I was a black dragon with dark blue outlining my chest, wings and belly. "Ya, I'm alright Mokaba" he replied before realizing that I was sitting on the crazed yami. "Be careful Mokaba! He's dangerous!" Seto said concerned, I felt pain in my left hind paw before I was thrown to the ground. Everything happened so fast, it took a moment to realize that I was now lying in a pool of blood, my blood "MOKABA!" My brother screamed as he nudged my head. "I'm sorry big brother" I replied before losing consciousness.

Seto's POV

I watched as my whole world came crashing down. Malik had forced Warren to change him into a dragon before he slashed my little brother in the underbelly. I looked on horrified as my brother was thrown to the ground as a pool of his blood formed around him. "MOKABA!" I screamed as I gently nudged his head, he was dazed and his eyes began to dull before he lost consciousness. I flared out my wings and spit fire at Malik before I slashed him in the face. He screeched as he fled like a coward. I lowered my head and walked back to my brother. "Mokaba?" I whimpered. My little brother was the only thing that mattered in my life and now he was lying on the ground slowly dying. Suddenly white flames flowed over Mokaba causing the bleeding to stop, I turned my head and saw it was a gold dragon with a purple tipped black mane. "Yugi?" I questioned. He nodded before gently biting Mokaba's tail and dragging him into the house. I followed after him, he laid my brother on a blanket "he'll be alright, he just needs time to recover. I would suggest he remain a dragon for a few days because the wounds would be fatal if he changed back" Yugi explained. I looked down at my brother before curling myself around him protectively. "I won't leave your side little brother" I whispered to Mokaba.

Yugi's POV

I watched as Seto curled his body around his brother "I won't leave your side little brother" Kaiba whispered to Mokaba. *Mokaba is the only person Seto cares about* 《I feel sorry for him》 *he may show you some respect since you saved his brother's life* I walked over to Seto "I'm sorry you and your brother were dragged into this mess. It's my fault Mokaba got injured" I said with my head lowered. I was suddenly whacked in the face by Seto's tail "stop doing that little Yugi! It was Mokaba's decision to help you, he adores you Yugi. Don't blame yourself for something you couldn't control!" He growled. I stared at him shocked "uh ok" I squeaked. My other friends had walked in on that whole scene. "You're admitting he's right, who are you and what have you done to Yugi?!" Jonouchi shouted dramatically. "He slapped me with his tail, that hurt! I try to argue and he'll do it again!" I whined. *hahaha* 《it's not funny》 *you're right, it's hilarious* I huffed, flopping on my side defeated. "Errrrrr" I breathed out. *what was that aibou?* 《hrrrrrrr》 *is that all you can say?* 《herrrrrrr》 *stop that!* 《you're so mean》 *I know, I'm a big meanie* 《hmph》 *hehe* "Yugi, what are you doing?" Anzu asked confused. I looked up at her before brushing the fluff on my tail in her face playfully. "You're so childish Yugi" she complained. I wagged my tail "I know but that's the reason I'm so lovable" I giggled. She smiled "that's true" Anzu replied. I turned my head as I felt someone nip my tail, it was Mokaba. "Mine" he said hugging my tail. "Huh, my tail" I whined playfully.

Anzu's POV

[2 hours later]

I looked over at the three dragons in the living room, Seto was still curled around Mokaba and Yugi was lying curled up on top of the two brothers. They were all sound asleep, it was adorable "I think Seto sees Yugi as his second little brother" Jonouchi said. I looked back at the three animals and realized that Seto had a paw on Yugi's back protectively. I smiled "that's adorable. Do you think Yugi would be better off living with Seto?" I asked. Jonouchi and Honda looked at me sadly "we wouldn't see Yugi again, Seto lives 4 hours away. He would most likely have Yugi home schooled to keep him safe" Jonouchi replied. "While Yugi would be safer with Seto, he would be saddened that he couldn't see his friends. Yugi would lose his cheerful personality, it would only hurt him further" Honda added. I just realized that Yugi had been listening to our conversation "Yugi? How much of that did you hear?" I asked. He lowered his head "all of it" he replied. "We only want you to be safe and happy Yugi" I said. "I don't care if I'm safe, I'm happy being with my friends!" Yugi growled. His shouting had woken up the Kaiba brothers "What's going on?" Seto asked concerned. Yugi slipped off Seto and stormed off. "Yugi?!" I said concerned. "Let him go Anzu" Jonouchi said. Seto looked at Jonouchi who nodded to him before Seto followed after Yugi.
