Sheena Belle was amazed to the old house. It was all made by wood and the furniture is antics, and it has unique interior design. But something caught her attention. The woman in the painting.
She look closely to be sure. and she was shock .She thought she were looking to her own reflection. But she remember someone that close to her heart.
She once told me that we look exactly the same when she was young and she even showed me her old picture and she was right. I have same features as hers. the only different is the colors of our eyes.
"grandmere" she said in a low voice. and her tears starts to fall.
"i'm proudly say na ang lolo ko ang nagpinta nyan!" biglang pagsabat ng dalaga sa likuran nya. at mabilis nyang pinunasan ang luhang pumatak at humarap sa nagsalita.
"oh! did...ahm..did you know who is the woman in the painting?" she said with hesitation and she feel tensed.
" i don't remember her name .But i've never forget his description about her, Ang pinaka magandang dalaga na nakilala nya." may nagdaan na lungkot sa mata nito na hindi nakaligtas sa paningin ni sheena.
"ako nga pala si Agatha Ronquillo apo ako ng may ari ng bahay na to."
"oh sorry for my manner! I'm Sheena Belle Alvarez."
"nice to meet you Sheena and welcome to naga!"
And sheena smiled politely.
"sya nga pala sabi ni attorney montero na kailangan mong makausap si lolo?"
"yeah. there is something that i need to tell him personally"
" ah ganun ba. pero kasi wala ngayon dito si lolo. he will be gone for a month or more i dont know exactly when he will be back."
" oh ganun ba! ahm pwede ko bang makuha ang number dito or cell number ng lolo mo? so i could come back.when he's here. personal lang talaga." she felt dis appointed and tired. she came all the way after she arrive from international airport. And catch a flight from manila to naga. Actually she used to travel long because of her work as a flight attendant but when her grandmother get sick she resign to her to job just to be with her grandmother. But they need money. So she took the job as a reseacher. its an easy job for her because she doesn't need to go somewhere she just need to sit down infront of her lappy .
"come on mag pahinga ka muna at pagigising na lang kita kay nanay zeny kapag ready na ang hapunan." nakangiting saad ni agatha na nahuhulaan ang nasa isip ng kaharap.
" what do you mean?" naguluhan na sagot ni sheena
" you dont have to worry kung saan ka tutuloy . tito rey i mean atty montero mention to me na wala kang ibang kamag anak dito and you need vacation."
"did atty montero told you of what happen?" sheena ask
"actually ang sabi lang ni tito na kailangan mo ng pahinga at bakasyon..."
"even though na ngayon mo lang ako nakilala at nakita. you will let me stay to your house"
"tito rey is a family. He and my grandfather were friends since they were young. my lolo lorenzo trust him so i trust him too. kahit na sa america na nakatira si tito rey lagi pa rin silang nagtatawagan at madalas rin mag bakasyon sila ng family nya dito sa bahay .at ng tumawag sya na may darating at kailangan ng peaceful vacation and he recommend this place "
"but i dont need vacation but my intention is to talk your grandfather personnally and atty montero knows about it" sheena said
"whatever your intention . as long as tito rey told me that your nice and trustable your still welcome. And as long as your beautiful like me you can stay as much as you want" nakangiting saad ni agatha
Sheena felt warm to her heart. And she knows that she's sincere.
After the talk she showed me my room where i'm going to occupy .
Sheena went downstairs to look for agatha to ask something. but she find herself walking to the living room .
"grandmere i miss you so much!" she talked to the painting as she can hear her,
Regina Alvarez is the reason why she's here . She requested me to give the letter to the man she never forget until to her last breath....

"grandmere" she stood up and immediately sit beside her
"my beautiful belle!" the old reach her face with affection . and she can't control her sob.
"dont cry apo!we both know it coming. so i supposed we both ready" she said sadly and trying to be strong in front of her grand daughter.
"please grandmere! give me more time to spend my time with you!" she was crying now.
"as much i would love to . but i can't.."
"grandmere! " she's pleading.
"listen to me belle! i ... i want you to go back to the philippines and i want you give to him my letter"
"what letter ?and who is him?"
the old woman look far away that seems she remembering the past. and sheena saw her reaction. she suddenly smiled and looks so happy. but after she looks like she's suffering to the most painful moments. and tears dropping from her eyes. Sheena couldn't bear. she look away, stood up and look outside. She wants to give her grandmother time....
a minute after..
while looking outside a cold wind rush to her face and to her whole , she embrace her self as if someone hugging her tighly. and she felt weird .
She unciounciously touch her body where she can feel her heart beat.
But she feel sad, pain, tears are flowing,
the wind blows again and she thinks she heard someone whispered to her ear.
someone says goodbye...
