Seto's POV
I looked over at Jonouchi who nodded to me before I followed after Yugi. I followed Yugi down the red painted hallway, this path led to the royal bedroom but how did he did he know that? I followed him into the bedroom and was stunned by what I saw, the bedroom was decorated like an Egyptian throne room. "What?!" I questioned. Yugi turned around startled "Kaiba?" He asked. "What happened here?" I asked. He laughed nervously "uh, when I left Yami in control for a while, he discovered this room and redecorated it" Yugi replied. I smiled "don't worry Yugi, I never really understood why I wanted a royal room but I believe it was fate that we met. I now know why I had this room built, it was for the pharaoh" I replied. "Oh. Well Yami says thank you" he said. "Anzu told me what happened, I have a solution for your friend problem. 3x a week I'll have my pilot pick them up and bring them here, as well as make sure your grandpa is safe" I explained. "Make it 4x a week and bring me burgers 2x a week and I'll be happy" Yugi countered. I chuckled "you've got yourself a deal cub" I replied. He pounced on me playfully "thanks Seto, your the best" he purred. "It will be nice having two little brothers" I said without thinking. Yugi froze "you consider me a little brother?" He asked curiously. "Yes, you and Mokaba mean the world to me, I would be devastated if something happened to either of you" I replied happily. I heard a small noise before I turned around to see Mokaba standing in the door way. He was crying but judging by the fact that he was smiling and wagging his tail, he was happy. "Mokaba?" I questioned. My brother walked up to me and hugged me "I'm so glad you think of us like that" he purred. "I also get to experience what it's like to be a little brother too because Yami is much older than me" I giggled hugging both of them. Yugi looked at Mokaba before they both ran out of the room and down the hallway giggling "catch us if you can Seto!" The both shouted in sync. I laughed before chasing after them.
Anzu's POV
I heard shouting and laughing coming down the hallway as two small dragons ran into the living room being chased by a larger dragon laughing. Seto tackled them both playfully. He pinned Yugi and Mokaba to the ground nuzzling both of them. I smiled, seeing Seto so happy playing with Yugi and Mokaba, made me happy.
Yugi's POV
[4 days later]
I had convinced Seto to allow me to hang out with my friends but I figured it was a bit risky since the rare hunters showed up, stupid Malik and his rare hunters. I was with Anzu, my other friends were supposed to meet up with us at the park. I looked over and noticed a fortune teller "please Anzu?" I asked. She looked hesitant but agreed "ok, I guess it wouldn't hurt" she replied. I walked over "would you like your fortune to be told?" He asked. I nodded "I'll need an item you hold dear in order to properly predict your future." He said before pointing to my puzzle "that will do" he replied. "No, not my puzzle, I can't stand to be separated from it" I said. "It'll only take a moment, I promise you" he smiled. I hesitated before reluctantly giving him the puzzle. He smirked before knocking over the table and bolting into the alleyway with my puzzle "MY PUZZLE!" I shouted shocked. I looked at Anzu "cut him off from the other side, I'll follow him through the alleyway" I said before bolting after the man. I followed him into a warehouse, it was bandit Keith who was being controlled by Malik. I was challenged to a duel and I was unable to get the help of the pharaoh because I lost connection with him.
[Time skip]
I watched horrified as Keith shattered the millennium puzzle "NO!" I screamed. I quickly gathered all the peices of the puzzle shivering as I couldn't feel Yami. I tried to pull the chain down but it was no use. Keith began screaming for Malik to leave him alone as he picked up a metal pole and began swinging it "Keith! Don't!" I screamed as he struck the control panel with the pole causing the wires to snap and hit the gasoline tanks below. I panicked as fire began to spread but I couldn't leave without my puzzle. I quickly began to put my puzzle back together, I was struggling as the flames quickly spread around me. I coughed, choking on the smoke "I must complete the puzzle" I said.
