Endless Love

New School

"Maya! Time to get up it's your first day in your new school you don't wanna be late" my mother yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

I rolled over and grabbed my phone to see what time it was then decided to sit up on my bed. I start rubbing my sleepily eyes. I got out of bed and went over to my closet to look for a cute outfit to wear to school 

I went over into the bathroom and did my hair putting a bow in the back of it after I curled it and then I grabbed my makeup bag and put lip gloss on and mascara. 

After I was done with my hair and makeup and went back into my room grabbing my converse sneakers and slipped them on then made my way downstairs to get some breakfast. 

"Hey honey you ready for your first day?" my mom asked me. "I guess" I replied back and started eating my breakfast. 

After I finished I grabbed a hold of my backpack then waited for my mom to drive me to school. 

~time skip the car ride~ 

I looked over at the school and saw that it was a huge school and looked like I was gonna get lost then when my mom parked I got out of the vehicle and went into the school and looked around in confusion. 

"Hello, are you lost maybe I can help you?' One girl said to me smiling. "Uhm yeah sorry I'm new here" I said and she kept smiling "Well it's okay I can help you where do you need to go?" I took out my schedule and showed her and she pointed over to my first classroom. 

"Thank you, what's your name?" I asked politely. "The names Jessica but everyone calls me Jess" she said standing in the doorway of the classroom. "So here's your class and I can show you the rest when class is over I'll just meet you back here afterwards" she added and all I did was nod.

She finally stepped out of the way and I made myself in the classroom and sat down staying quiet. All the girls were looking at me like 'who is she?' it was kind of creepy but I didn't really pay much attention to them. 

Then I heard some boys in the back rows laughing and messing around but I didn't pay much attention to them either and focused on the class, which was mathematics.

When the class was finally over my new friend Jess was at the door waiting for me but this time she only pointed to the next class room as her next class was in another building so I started to walk to my next class.

I was holding onto my books and all of a sudden this boy bumped into me and accidentally knocked my books down so I dropped down and started to pick them up. 

"I'm so sorry I should've been watching where I was walking" I said as he looked at me and started to help pick my books up. "No it was my fault no worries" he said as he gave me a soft smile.

All I did was smile back and stand back up as he handed me the rest of my books and I started to walk off but he stopped me. "I didn't quite get your name" he looked me in the eyes. "It's Maya" I said smiling at him. "beautiful name my name's Daniel but call me Danny" he replied. 

"Cute name" then I walked off to my next class before saying anything else.

All I thought in my head was that he was the cutest boy I've seen so far and hopefully we get to talk again.

The rest of the day went passed and me and Jessica swapped numbers so that we can talk over the phone and text each other and when the dismissal bell rang I packed up all my stuff and met my mom outside for her to pick me up. 

"So how did your day go?" she asked me and I smiled big and said "it went amazing I got a new friend named Jessica and I bumped into this guy named Daniel and he was really cute" I heard my mom laugh "well I'm glad you had a good day sweetheart"

When we got back home I rushed inside and put my backpack down and started to do my homework and my mom brought me a little snack and a water bottle and I picked on the snack and drank my water while I did my homework. 

I was so happy and then I suddenly got a text from Jessica

J-hey girl
M- heyy
J-we didn't get to talk much today but how was your day?
M-it was amazing do you know a guy named Daniel?
J- the football co-captain yeah I know him
M- he's really really cute we bumped into each other in the hall
J-just be careful those football players are jocks
M-I don't even know if he'll ever talk to me again

Jessica suddenly called me and we talked on the phone for about 2 hours getting to know each other more and we then became the best of friends.
