~Hey sorry, it took me awhile to post, I've been busy. Please comment, and vote it you like it, it'd mean a ton!!! Tell me what you like about it and tell me what you dislike. I know its full of mistakes, but if I go back I'll want to rewrite the whole thing and I'd like to finish a story for once in my life then I'll make it all pretty and fantastic :) -eli ~

I sat on the stairs for awhile, staring at the door to her room. I wanted to talk to her, not like before i just wanted to sit and talk to her. Ask how her life had been going. If she’d been having troubles in school. I just wanted to see how she was doing. What with Hale blowing me off for Amy and now was getting preached at by his mother. I felt awkward as Scott found me, he looked at me, The guy couldn’t have been more than ten years older than me.

“Got a problem?” I shrugged.

“I don’t actually want to be here, no offense.”

“Hale force you?”

“I guess, but not really. I just, I thought some things would be different.” I shrugged, “I feel like I should be in my home town right now. I like visiting my parents grave, it just calms me.”

“Does this have something to do with Casey?” He asked. I looked at him as he raised his brow, “Between the two of you it’s obvious.”

“Oh. Well, it’s nothing.” I told him, “I wanted something but she pushed me away.”

“I don’t know, she’s be up to no good since you left and now that your back, her mother and I thought you’d hang out and she’d straighten out but she’s just... bad.”

“I noticed, has she been like that before? She acted like she was just sick but I only have seen one person act like that. My friend had gotten swine flu that year, he couldn’t even move.” Scott smirked, “I’m worried about her.”

“I know. I was going to go check on her. Maybe you should come with me?” He nudged my side.

“I don’t think I should. I yelled at her a bit when we first got here.”

“Just come on.” He smiled, “Her mother wouldn’t approve, but I’m trusting you to do the right thing. Don’t break my trust kid and troubles will never arise.” He practically dragged me in. Casey was on my computer and her eyes went wide as she clicked twice as Scott practically pushed me in. All her lights were off, just as I had left it. I bit my lip, wanting to curl up on her.

“Do you need something?” She whispered.

“We came to check on you.” He told her softly, “What are you doing?”

“Nothing, I was actually just about to go to bed.”

“How’s your head?” I asked, “You really don’t look that well.” Her eyes met mine and I knew she was in pain.

“I’ll be fine.” She whispered as Scott heard someone yell for him. He left me alone with her and the only thing that kept running through my mind was that he was trusting me to do the right thing.

“What hurts?” I asked.

“My stomach and my head. My head is killing me.”

“Did you take some Advil?” I asked and she shrugged, “Are you going to bed?” She nodded, “Would you like me to stay?” My voice cracked when I asked, “I don’t mind.”

“Logan, I don’t know what I want.” She sounded upset. “I’d love to date you, but we will never have a chance to date. I don’t want to hold on to something just because it might work one day. I know you don’t either.”
