The outpost
12-1-18
(First three days in outpost)
Venable. Is what she told us to call her. Honestly she was kind of scary, but a beautiful scary. The kind of scary you want to get scared by. If that makes any sense.

Since I was the first person in the outpost she was very lenient with me. She even gave me a diary and a pen. She told me to write everything down. No matter what it was. No matter what minot detail. It all needed to be written down.

I am doing exactly that. Exactly what she told me. Writing down every little thing. Even thing I see in complete detail. Everything I hear. Everything I touch or feel. It all gets written down in the notebook she gave me.

When I went to look in the drawer in the little desk in the corner of my room, I found more journals and pens. Lots of pens. Maybe six or seven journals. I honestly got very excited. I wrote it down. I wanted to write every little detail about everything down.

When Ms.Venable called me into her office room area on the first day I was very nervous. The only time I had a one on one conversation with her was when I first got there. Hours before. When she handed me the notebook and told me to never forget. I guess she realized who my mother was. A journalist.

Well I guess she knew everything about all of us. Where we were born. How much we weighed when we were born. Who our parents are. Where our parents went to college. How our parents met. She knew everything. That is what scared me the most. She knew what you were going to do before you even did it. But I guess she had to know. She was running the outpost after all. And yes I put the outpost in bold letter because that is what it is. It's bold. It's where we are to survive. It is where our new home is.

I never really had a home before the end. I was in the foster system. Jumped from house to house. Until I turned sixteen. When this woman adopted me. She told me to call her Lana. She told me she was a reporter. I had also never watched tv in my life. So I knew nothing about her. She apparently survived an asylum. It's name was Briarcliff. I didn't know anything about it. Except what I heard from the tv she well Lana.

Lana was always very open about what happened to her. She even let me read her books. She told me everything about her past. Dr.Thredson, the asylum, Kit Walker. She told me how much Kit meant   to her. How mush she loved him, and how scared she was when he disappeared. She never told me that she gave birth to a baby. A baby boy to be exact. But non of that really matters anymore. We are all fighting for our lives now.

Well thanks for listening. Come back tomorrow 😘 [Y/N]

12-2-18

Day two in the outpost was very bland. I decided to write about how the walls felt how it felt to walk down the stairs, but all of that went into a different notebook. I have two separate notebooks. One about the outpost and one about everything else.

It's very dark in the outpost. It makes it very hard to write anything. The only place with good light is Ms.Venables office area. I asked her this morning if I could use it to see what I was writing. She just nodded her head and opened the doors. She also told me not to touch anything but the chairs. I listened.

Her office is big. With a fire place and two chairs. All of this is already in the other notebook, but I feel like whom ever reads this should know a little about the room Incase the other journal isn't found.
