She Knows

She knows what the fates have kept for her
She thinks, with just sixty seconds in her hand, what more can she achieve?
She closes her eyes and lets her imagination take her
To the land she pictures as her heaven.
The blue sky, the warm wind blowing through her hair, the trees and the birds singing the sweet old melody of love.
She sits down in the field and sings along with the birds.

When she hears horses galloping in the cobbled pavement,
She stands up and tries to locate the sound.
Behind her she sees an armoured knight riding a white stallion.
The knight, on placing,his steadfast footsteps on the ground, asks her, if she would like to accompany him to a place, that he calls as "heaven".
The knight takes her to a land where life after forever just begins.

Meanwhile, her body is being taken to the grave
Her coffin,made of the most precious wood, is being carried by her father
who is unable to bare the wight of her late daughter.
Her mother shedding tears of loss
Did the knight come to take her life away or give her a new life?

Her body might be lying under the grass now
But her soul is free
Singing through her new life in the land of forever.
