Anjali anand pov :-

"Nanna(Dad) I'm on my way,  I'll be there in half an hour okay bye " I said hanging up.. Right now I'm on my way to my father's place ,yes i don't live with my father,i want to, but my dad didn't let me .

Its all started when I was  5 years old. Then I was princess of my parents,they shower me with all the love ,and care ,my childhood was awesome until one day . My mother died, I don't know what happened to her, it was my birthday my mother went out to bring my birthday cake which she specially orderd, but... she never came back .

After my mother's death my father blocked me from his world ,he completely changed himself, he worked as a police commissioner, few months from  my mother's death he was transferred to Mumbai . I thought he will take me with him to Mumbai but he left me with his mother in sence  my grandma. I was brought up by my grandma in Hyderabad ,she  never made me miss my mother,she loves me from earth to moon, stars and back to earth, but she also died few years ago.i was devastated and fell into depression for weeks, so my father took me with him,,  so now I am  in Mumbai not with my father but in my college hostel,in which,currently studying final year of my bachelor degree in medical.. even though I visit him every weekend but I don't live with him, he didn't let me, I don't know why..even though I can feel the care love in his voice he never shows it with action.

My dad lives in city outscarts ,so now I'm in my car, on way to visit him, in the middle of woods, it's already 11.pm  quiet late ..But it's okay.. I love driving at nigh with moon and stars .

My thoughts were distributed by ear screeching sound, I stoped my car at instant..
The sound is coming from the cliff, which is few meters awaya from the main road,

Few seconds later I heard gun shot

Bang

followed by blast

Boom

At this point I was sweating and shaking like hell,

Few minutes I heard sound  of cars engines ignition and driving away..

What should I do now? Should I get down and check what happened or should keep going...

May be I should check,, with trembling hands I got down from my car and started walking towards the cliff .

Their were huge flames and cloud of smoke, a car was burning in the edge of the cliff..

What about the people in their, I hurried near the  car but before I could reach ,the car sliped and from  the cliff making huge blast sound due to the effect blast I fell backwards.....

I got up, and something caught my eyes,, I took a closeer look and I realised it was a man.

I hurried towards him,, he was badly injured, his whole body was covered with blood,, he had many injuries and he wasn't breathing.. I immediately checked his pulse, his heart  wasn't beating..

No no

I immediately started pushing hard on chest and breathing in mouth,

Come on come on Plzz, you have to live, comeback

After few attempts,, he took a sharp breath, but he didn't open his eyes

I checked his pulse it was normal now I left a breath which I don't know holding till now.
He was bleeding so I took off my scarf and tied around his head. I should take him to hospital now...

I got back in my car and drive towards the cliff, near the man.
With so much of difficulty I made him lay on the back seat of my car and drove as fast as I can to the nearest hospital which is almost 30 km far,,

I reached the hospital, immediately faculty took him to the emergency ward,,
A nurse came towards me " mam you have to fill the form ,and pay admit fee 10k so that we can start the treatment "she said handingover form and pen to me,,

I know in these type of cases it's compulsory to have consult of patient relatives. If I say them the truth that, he is a stranger to me, then they won't start treatment,. So I just noded and filled the form,, patient name, I wrote it as arjun it's just flashed in my mind ,,  then  I just filled it with random stuff.. And I signed it And handed it back .

I don't have money to pay so I took of my platinum chain,
"I don't have that much money now Plzz keep this I'll take it back when bill is paid " I requested her handing the chain and form..

"Miss what's your relation with him "
Nurse questioned me,,,

I know it's wrong, but I have to do it..
" I'm his wife , Plzz start the treatment soon" I pleaded her.. I don't know why I did that...

" Don't worry miss he will be fine, don't cry " she said with assuring smile, and walked away.

I touch my cheeks then realised that I was crying, that to for a man who is complete stranger to me, it's not that I have never seen someone like this, being  medical student I have seen many patients like this, I have never cried for any one, then why now?,for now I kept that  question a side,,

I waited their for 2 hours,, the same nurse came out of the emergency room

" don't worry Mrs. arjun your husband is safe now,, he will get conscious in few minutes ,later we will shift him to general ward, you can see him their "

I was happy for unknown reason,,
" thank you so much miss ".
so its time for me to leave." nurse can you Plzz look after him? I have to make a call for my in laws ,I'll be back in few minutes " I requested her.. "Okk, Mrs. Arjun "
I thanked her. Though it felt strange to being called like that, soon I left hospital.
When I took my phone their were 5 missed calls from my father,
Shit I forgot to inform him,it's alredy 4 in the morning.. He must be worried

I dailed my father's number,, after few rings my dad lifted, before I could speak " I know you are angry on Anju, but I got call from office it was important so I left house,, Plzz don't be angry I'll be back by,  7 .."
After hearing that I left a breath of releaf that I don't know holding till now,,
' it's okay nanna,, I was angry do I didn't answered your call earlier, but now I'm no longer angrier,  come home,, I'll  prepare your favourite dosa for breakfast ""

"I'm sorry Anju,, I'll try to come back soon, OK, I need to go, bye, "he hung up..

I was releaf that my father dont know that I'm not in the house right now. So I quickly started  to drive to my father's place my home.

I reached my home, the first thing I do is, take shower thinking about that man I didn't even see his face clearly, it doesn't matter, thank god he is fine now.Later I change into some comfortable cloths. It's alredy 5 am. So I should start prepare breakfast for dad.

I was done preparing breakfast.soon my dad came. The first thing I do is to hug him he huged me back ... I really miss him .i know he also does. But he would never tell me

He came took  seat in dining table. I know he can't wait to taste my hand made food
Soon I served him with dosa, smashed potatoes and chatni..

He took first bite, and closed his eyes enjoying the taste..few seconds later he opened his eyes and I know what's he is going to tell me.

"You cook like your mother"

I smiled at him

Me and my mother both learnt cooking from same person

Later he went to office leaving me alone in the house.
