DAY BEFORE BREAK

CAMERONS POV

i woke up with karli in my arms once again, her tiny body was like a baby compared to me, i wrapped my arms tighter around her and she moved alittle, but didnt wake up.

"i know your still sleeping, but i need to tell you this anyway, when im with you, im my happiest, you make my life better, i never stopped liking you, from the moment i first saw you 16 years ago, i knew i loved you, ive always loved you. the moment we broke up, i was heartbroken, i didnt care if you were younger, i didnt care if you had a boyfriend, i still loved you..." i softly whispered, playing with her hair.

"shes awake cam," nash said, pointing to her, she was facing him so i couldnt tell.

she rolled her body over and had a tear streaming down her face, she smiled as i wiped the tear away.

"i dont know what to say," she admitted.

i heard nash whisper yell, "say you like him because you do!"

i rolled my eyes joking at him, "you dont have to say anything, just always remember that my feelings for you have never changed, or are ever going to change,"

she smiled and nodded.

there was a knock at the door, i got up to get it and felt karli's eyes burning into my shirtless body, i mentally smirked.

"oh hey, wassup?" i said to matt.

he pulled me into the hall, "shawns trying to make karli jealous, hes with a girl. your cant let her see them- wait, is she still sad?"

i shook my head, "not really, it would take alot to make her a fully sad again."

he nodded, i scratched the back of my neck, "remember when i was with madison for that short period of time?" i asked.

he nodded.

"well, i never really liked her, i was only with her so i could finally distract myself from karli," i admitted.

he didnt get mad or upset like i thought he would, he did a small side smile, "you never stopped loving her since day one, have you?"

i shook my head, "not even for a second."

"take her on a date, its fall so tonight, we'll all go to the the beach and have a big bonfire, itll be a date with you two if you ask her to be your date, she loves bonfires on a chillier night," he said, i nodded.

"alright, ill go tell her right now." i said, he nodded.

"oh and one more thing, please dont hurt her or make sure no one else hurts her, i dont know how much more her and also gwen can take..." he finished.

"i wont, trust me." i replied, he nodded and we both walked back to our rooms.

"wheres karli?" i asked nash.

"shower, why dont you just ask her to be your girlfriend already?" he asked.

he sighed, "because i cant, she just broke up with shawn-"

"that was almost 2 weeks ago," he interjected.

i shrugged, "oh well, im not making her my girlfriend until im sure she wants to be, but i am going to ask her on dates. im gonna ask her to be my date for the fire tonight."

nash gave me a questioning look, "ill ask matt about it?" he asked, i nodded.

KARLIS POV

i got out of the shower and dried off, i put on my undergraments, maroon jeans, and a light white cropped sweater with white skulls on it.

i threw my hair in a loose pony tale and put on mascara and blush and then walked out.

"ayee," i said, putting a piece sign in the air.

"wasssuuuh," nash replied doing the same thing, i laughed.

"oh gurl, you're so fine," cam said in an awkward girly voice.

"but you already knew," i smirked.

he laughed, "theres actually something i wanted to ask you."

i sat down on his bed, "what is it?"

he started avoiding it, "'what' is a very weird word, you see."

i just looked at him as he continued talking about the word 'what'.

"look dude, if you dont ask her, i will, and shes my sister so that'd be a bit weird." matt said, walking in the room with carter.

"aye shopping carter," i smirked.

"aye karl," he smirked back, we both laughed.

"ask me wwhhaatt!" i stressed.

"karli, theres a fire tonight, and if someone doesnt ask you soon, i will, do you want to be my-" carter began.

"wait! ill ask her," cam said, cutting carter off.

everyone nodded, "finally," matt whispered.

what the hell is going on? dont they know i dont want a boyfriend and i dont want to be involved with anyone at the moment?

"hold up, no one ask me anything until i get back," i said.

i grabbed matt by his ear and dragged him into the hall with him saying 'ow' the whole time.

"you set this up," i said, crossing my arms.

"well, that depends on if your mad or not..." he replied.

"i dont want to be involved with anyone, i dont want a boyfriend, i dont want anything! now i feel terrible because cameron was going to ask me to be his date for that, right?" i asked, matt nodded.

i continued, "exactly! i just want to hang out with my friends and not be involved with anyone...but him. so im going to say yes, hehe got ya!"

i ran back into the room with matt behind me looking shocked.

"you prank me to much," he fake pouted, i laughed and sat down on cams bed next to him.

"mkay, continue," i said.

"so, theres this fire that all of us are having tonight, do you wanna be my date to it?" he asked nervously.

"sure," i smiled.

he sighed, "yeah, i understand, i mean like i knew you werent going to say yes- wait, did you just say yes?" he happily finished.

"yeah, she did, now get off the topic before you make her change her mind." nash said nodding.

cam put his arm around me and smirked, "nope." matt said, he quickly moved his arm away and wiped the smirk off his face.

"shawn was with madison last night, but he told me he felt guilty so he made her leave!" matt burst out.

i was wide eyes, "he was...?" i asked sadly.

matt nodded, "but he sent her home because it didnt feel right..."

i scoffed, "well no shit, shes the biggest slutty ass whore in the whole goddamn universe!" i threw my hands in the air angrily.

cam kissed my cheek when matt wasnt look and i blushed deeply, "you dont need him." he whispered.

i nodded, "your right..."
