GRACE'S POV

I woke up on the first day of eleventh grade with a massive headake. I got out of bed and went into the bathroom that Sofia and I share. I got the Tylenol and took out two tablets and filled the glass next to the sink with water. I popped them into my mouth and drank water to wash the medicine down. I walked back into my room and looked into my closet. I took out one of my many black pants and looked through my sweatshirts. I ended up picking a light pink one. I grabbed my phone off my nightstand and checked the time. it was 7:41, and that's pretty early for me. I grabbed my black backpack and put my black notebook and pencil case in it. I headed downstairs and grabbed my black water bottle and filled it up with water and put it in my bag. I went back up the stairs leaving my bag on my kitchen counter and went back into our bathroom. I brushed my hair and then my teeth. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs and grabbed my bag. I grabbed my keys and Put on my all black vans. I went out the door and saw that Sofia's car was already gone leaving only mine in the driveway. Our parents are never home so it was the least they could do to buy us cars. I headed to my Jeep and got in placing my bag on the passenger's side. I looked at my phone to check the time seeing it was 8:28. I started the car and started backing up, I put on some Twenty one pilots and started jamming out to Bandito. when I got to school I headed straight to my locker. I put my bag in and got out my earbuds and headed to the girl's washroom. there was no point on going to homeroom since that will only cause a scene. I put my earbuds into my phone and started to watch Netflix until the bell rang. I then went back to my locker and got my binder that was for both English and science and a pencil. then I headed to English and walked in. I sat in the back and put in my earbuds and started to listen to music. after the bell rang I got up and started to head out when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to find Sofia "hey!" she said

"hey?" I said confused

"what do you have next?" she asked

"science"

"same! let's go," she said pulling on my arm. I rolled my eyes and shrugged her off. I then walked off out into the hallway. trying to get there before her so that I don't have to sit beside her. when I got there she was already there with a girl sat beside her. I felt both relieved and confused at the same time. how did she get here before me? doesn't matter, I don't have to sit beside her. I went and sat at an empty table that was in the middle at the side and was the closest to the back that I could get. a minute or so went by and someone finally sat next to me. I turned to see who was there I came face to face with a boy. he had beautiful hazel eyes and brown hair. I quickly turned back to the window so he can't see me. he then tapped on my shoulder and I turned to face him

"hey can I borrow I pencil?" he asked

"no" I replied sternly, now facing the teacher at the front.

"ok..." he said. the rest of the day went by pretty quickly except last period. Drama. I love Drama, I love acting and all that stuff. but this year the new kid is in my class. I don't know why but I don't like him. well, I don't like anyone, but still. we were voting on what play we should do and the options were Rapunzel or the greatest showman. I wanted to do the greatest showman because It was my favourite movie. in the end, the greatest showman won, thankfully. and tomorrow we were deciding who we wanted to try out for and we would practice. for the rest of the class, the teacher told us to socialize and talk to each other. I have no friends in this class or at all for that matter so I just listened to some music. "hey" a familiar voice said. I looked up to see the new kid.

"what?" I asked

"well your not very friendly

"nope"
