Protective Dragon pt5[Final]

Yugi's POV

[2 months later]

I was having a sleep over with my male friends, Jonouchi, Honda, Seto, Mokaba and Bakura. I was sitting on the bed next to Jonouchi and Seto *(smirking) mind shuffle with me, I want to smack Kaiba in the face with a pillow but don't want to get caught doing it* 《now whose immature?》 *please aibou?* 《fine》 I said allowing Yami to take control, he quickly picked up a pillow and threw it at Seto's face before swapping with me again. "What the!" Seto growled annoyed before glaring at me "it wasn't me!" I said putting my hands up in surrender. Bakura burst out laughing "I didn't think the pharaoh could be so childish" he said laughing. I smiled "he couldn't resist" I replied. "That's it Motou! Duel me!" Seto commanded. I flopped over "I surrender! I'm too tired" I squeaked. Kaiba poked me "you're so childish Yugi" he replied. I pawed at him playfully, "meh" I purred. I was dragged off the bed and pulled under the bed. It was Mokaba who was trying to not laugh "oh no, the monster under the bed claimed its first victim" Jonouchi said playfully. Bakura peeked under the bed, only for me to pull him under too. "No, we lost another one" Honda said overdramatic. I reached a hand out trying to grab Honda's leg "rawr, fear me" I giggled. I heard the bedroom door open and could see Anzu in the doorway looking confused. "What's going on? Bakura texted me asking for snacks but I didn't expect to walk into this strange scene. Where is Bakura anyway?" She asked. Honda gestured her closer to the bed, I snickered as I dragged her under the bed. She screamed before realizing it was just me "Yugi? What the heck?" Anzu questioned. Bakura peeked out from behind me and snatched the cookies and fruits Anzu had brought us before he disappeared into the darkness giggling. "Uh, ok then. Can I go now please?" She asked. I nodded "sure, thanks Anzu" I replied before letting her go. I took advantage of her distraction and yanked Seto under the bed "rawr!" I playfully growled. He screamed before Mokaba pounced on him. "Hey big brother" Mokaba purred happily. Seto pulled us both closer to him "hello my little brothers" he replied happily. I heard someone else walk in as Anzu left "uh, Kaiba, sir?" The man questioned. The three of us poked our heads out from under the bed "what is it, I'm kind of busy here" Seto growled. The man stared at us confused "oh, sorry sir but we have a little problem. One of your men was doing a perimeter check when they found Yugi's dog Puck unconscious by the back door and the door was wide open" he replied nervously. I quickly disappeared back under the bed in fear. Kaiba growled before shoving Mokaba back under the bed too "if you see anyone you don't recognize, shoot them. No question asked, I want you to be sure they don't reach this room!" Seto commanded. A loud crash was heard before I heard a female scream "Roxy!?" Seto screamed before said fox shifter came running and slipped under the bed frightened. "What's wrong Roxy?" I asked concerned. "A man with the millennium rod came into the medbay and demanded I tell him where the other two millennium item holders were! I refused to tell him, he tried to control my mind but my screaming disoriented him and allowed me to escape" she replied quivering. I jumped as someone reached their hand under the bed, I followed my instincts and bit the hand. I was smacked in the face with the millennium rod, this only confirmed that this was Malik. I screamed as Malik grabbed me by my hair and dragged out from under the bed. I was yanked to my feet and felt a knife pressed against my neck. *aibou!* 《please, do something》 *do you trust me?* 《yes, of course I do》 *just close your eyes and everything will be ok little one* 《ok》 I said before feeling Yami take control.

Yami's POV

I panicked as my partner had a knife pressed against his neck. 《Please, do something》 *do you trust me?* 《yes, of course I do》 *just close your eyes and everything will be ok little one* 《ok》 my hikari said before relaxing, allowing me to take over *stay in your soul room and keep your eyes closed* 《ok》 I grabbed the hand pressing the knife against my partner's neck and flipped Malik forwards before I completely took control "DON'T TOUCH MY HIKARI!" I shouted angrily before kicking Malik in the face. This time I didn't plan on letting him escape unscathed. I grabbed the knife he had dropped and stabbed him in his right eye "let that be your last warning, touch my hikari again and that knife will end up in your soul Malik!" I growled angrily "please forgive me Marik, I did what I had to" I said to the hikari. +it's ok, you got the puzzle close enough that I could escape into Yugi's soul room+ 《so you're my soul roommate?》 +yep, I missed talking to you Yugi+ *welcome Marik, I'm glad to hear you again* I said before I backed away from Malik "I'm taking your hikari too, now get out!" I shouted angrily. "Fine! I don't care about my hikari anyway!" He growled before leaping out the window. "So Marik's soul is within the puzzle now?" Bakura asked. "Yes, he's in Yugi's soul room" I replied before giving my hikari control.

Yugi's POV

I smiled "I'm glad Marik is now free from Malik's monarchy" I said. +I'm glad to be back with my pharaoh and his partner+ *I'm glad to have you* 《it's going to take some time for me to get used to three souls within one body》 +just remember, I can take over for you whenever you need me to+ *that would be very helpful, thank you* +no, thank you for allowing me to stay+ 《you've been nothing but kind to us, your yami is the one we despise》 *we should get some sleep, Yugi has school in the morning* 《aww, but I was having so much fun》 +your partner is right little cub, I can tell you're exhausted+ 《it's a little weird that you can feel my emotions just like Yami》 *don't worry, it works both ways. You can trust Marik to keep anything we discuss secret unless you say otherwise* 《I trust you both, it's nice having another person I can trust my secrets to》 +I'm honored to have your trust+ *Yugi trusts people a bit too easily but he only trusts us with his most personal and valuable secrets* +I'm truly grateful for you saving me from Malik+ *it's our pleasure* I yawned before curling up in my bed 《good night Yami, Marik》 I said as I fell asleep.
