Rye waits for Andy on the agreed upon bench at the park. The sun was setting, leaving hazes of gold and red showering the sky.

Rye checks his watch once more; the third time in a minute. His knee is bouncing up and down like the bouncy balls of the children playing at the park.

"Rye?"

Rye turned his head ever so slightly, just enough to see the boys face out of the corner of his eye. His chiseled jaw and sexy, squinted eyes. His perfect nose, and full luscious lips. Exactly like his pictures.

This boy was the definition of beauty.

"Andy?"

The boy smiled and walked around the bench to sit next to Rye.

"Nice to meet you." Andy extended his hand for rye to shake, which he did. Andy's soft small hands were a contrast from Ryes big rough ones.

"Shall we start walking?" Andy nodded, and helped Rye stand up from his place on the old bench.

They walked in silence until they got to the visible path. The rocks were hard beneath their feet, but shoes shielded the skin.

"So what do you do for a living?" Andy asked.

"Well..." Rye couldn't exactly tell Andy his real job—an assassin, hired to kill him. "I work in the service industry."

"What does that mean?"

"My job changes from time to time, but let's not talk about me. What do you do?"

"I'm a musician. Well technically I'm a barista, but I'm trying to be a musician."

"Oh?" Rye said with curiosity.

"Yea, it's not working out too well. I have college and work, and it doesn't give me much time to go out into the world and play for people."

"Have you ever preformed anywhere?"

"Yea, a couple of times at the coffee shop I work at."

"Is it fun?"

"It's more than that. It's a rush of adrenaline and...and, I don't even know how to describe it." Andy voice raised a pitch when he talked about music. It was his dream, his passion, his life.

Rye understood more then anyone else. His dream was to become a spy, to fight off all the bad guys, but not all dreams work out.

Rye looked down at his feet, and the moving ground beneath them. Listening to the deep crunch of the friction between the rocks and his shoes keeping him in a daydream.

Andy looked at Rye. He studied his face. Everything about it screamed perfection, and Andy couldn't deny the obvious attraction he felt towards him.

"You know, I never had much self confidence, but I always though I was at least better looking than the ground." Rye cracked a smile and lifted his face up to Andy's.

"Well, you aren't wrong."

"Then prove it." Rye looked at Andy's face and only Andy's face. He was so stubborn and wanted to prove a point.

"Ok you can stop now, it's kind of creepy." It didn't even last a minute before Andy broke.

"Then why'd you want me to do it in the first place?"

Andy bit the inside of his lips and smirked. "No reason."

Rye had a habit that he wasn't fond of; he needed to know everything. Which is why he tapped Andy's shoulder, repeatedly asking for a reason that just...didn't exist. But Andy was enjoying the attention, he never got it much anywhere else. He lives alone in a little flat, where everyone is rude, and you can't even takeout the trash without getting a snarky reply. But he would admit, the constant shoulder tapping got on his nerves a bit.

"Tell me. Tell me. Tell me."

"What are you five?"

"No, four." Andy giggle a sound that was irresistible to ryes ears.

Andy bursted out into a light jog, speeding a head of rye. "You will never know,so if just give up now."

"Bet?"

"Bet." Rye started into a full run, causing Andy to do the same. It was an undeniable fact that rye was faster. The cat and mouse game was cut short when rye wrapped his arms around Andy.

"You'll never know." Andy laughed.

Rye released Andy, so that they could face each other. They were both slightly winded and perfect tidy hair, flown out of place.

"Can I be honest with you?"

"Yea."

"I don't even remember what I was trying to figure out."

"Me neither." Rye smiled, feeling secure knowing he wasn't the only what who forgot.

A thought came to Andy's mind making Andy grow a smirk.

"What's so funny?"

"I guess you really will never know." Rye shook his head in fake disappointment.

"I guess your right."
