I drummed my fingers against the desk to a song I had heard earlier this morning. Detention is stupid, American schools are stupid, that girl that asked for my number repeatedly and got me in trouble for yelling at her to stop is stupid. I don't have time for this shit, I have a busy schedule and my time will be wasted here.

A boy walked into the room, he throws his book bag at the floor next to me. He sinks into the chair, and sighs loudly.

The teacher walks around the room to check for people who are on their phones. When she walked to the front and cleared her throat.

"Yoongi Min? Talking in class". I looked up at her.
"Here miss" I immediately look down at the desk, I have somehow gotten in trouble the same week I got here. They might let me go early if I'm respectful and charming. She looked slightly surprised at my politeness but kept reading out the names.

"Jung Hoseok? Copying on an assignment"
"Here" He whined.. I look away and blush slightly. Why is he looking at me? What did I even do to him? Why am I so flustered I mean it's just another student. I'm being irrational and getting annoyed for no reason. Besides I'm a model who wouldn't want to look at me?

I pulled out my books and started working on my homework. The teacher left the room and allowed us to talk. The boy looked around and rocked back and forth on his chair, he started to whistle to some tune or another when a scary looking guy shoots him a glare. He suddenly leaned over to me.

"Aren't you the guy from my algebra class?" He said.

"Yeah.." I replied. He was making me a bit annoyed I've had a REALLY long day and can't deal with this I just want to go home and be in peace I hate everyone here. But his smile caught me off guard so I didn't snap at him.

"Can you help me with this it's kind of hard. Sorry I seemed kind of rude when I first walked in here I'm just so annoyed because I wasn't copying at all I just looked over at the clock because I just can't wait to get it over with and ugh it's really cold in here isn't it? I think it is..." he just kept rambling and I kind of tuned out and looked at him for a bit. He had dark brown eyes and orange hair. He seems twitchy and looks around the room a lot it's kind of unnerving. I do notice he is handsome, not modeling handsome more like dancer type handsome. He notices me staring at him and stops talking, I look away.

"I'm so sorry I just get really carried away talking" he finally says.

"It's fine I'm a good listener" yeah, right. I'm just good at tuning people out.

"You're new right? I've never seen you here before, not as in detention but as in at this school." He asked. I'm glad he doesn't ramble again.

"Yeah I just moved here from Daegu a week ago" I said still not looking at him.

"Cool isn't that in Korea? No offense but your English is so good I never would have known" he asked curiously.

"I know, I went to an English all boys school and had online friends all over the U.S and Canada so it's not really new for me anyway."

"That's pretty cool" he smiles at me. What is wrong with this guy. "That's why you're so fashionable right? I mean I saw you and you looked kind of cool." I look at him, confused, he widens his eyes. "Wait. Was that offensive I'm so sorry I didn't mean to be ru.."A blush comes to my face. I interrupt him.

"No no it's okay, it's just that was nice of you to say but yeah. I would always get excited to go to Seoul every month with my dad. It's pretty far but I guess it was fun for both of us" I'm over sharing dammit. I met him thirty minutes ago and talking to him just feels so natural.

We talk like this for the next hour until the teacher comes back in the room.

"Did you kids learn your lesson?" She says to no one in particular. A chorus of teenagers agree and she dismisses us. I pack up my things, he grabs my wrist, I turn around.

"Don't think I'm weird but, um. I noticed you walking home the other day and we live a couple of minutes away from each other so I was thinking maybe, um, if you wanted to you could like walk with me maybe? If you don't want to that's fine don't feel forced to" he says.

"Sure, if we live near each other then I don't know why not." He turns to pack his stuff. I smile to myself when he isn't looking, this year is going to be interesting.
