Okay, Alpha Tyler CANNOT be my mate. Goddess please tell me there's another logical reason as to why he is fuming and not because there's a major possibility that he's my mate and I ran away from him.
"I don't know. Plus, I've never even met Alpha Tyler so I wouldn't know why he's fuming. But if anything, maybe his pack had another rogue problem?" was my only reply to Tyson.
"Are you sure about that? I mean, he was right behind your tail, and you were pretty adamant that the door be opened immediately, and you went straight to the bathroom."
After getting dressed, I opened the door and found Tyson sitting on the floor waiting for me to give him some answers.
"I might have an idea why, but I really don't want to talk about it right now. Do you think we can get Alpha Charlie to start the meeting so we can leave soon?"
Tyson studied my face, and seemed to have found whatever answer he's been looking for and nodded his head.
To say the other alphas and lunas were unimpressed is an understatement. We all had an agreement as to how the meeting was going to run, but because of me, our agreement was thrown out the window.
Tyson and I sat on our designated seats, and Tyson being Tyson, had his right arm around my shoulder. Not very professional of him, I know, but let's just say the low growl that kept going nearly throughout the meeting had not gone unnoticed by anyone.
The meeting went on for three hours, and there's still a lot to be discussed. Everyone decided to have the meeting resumed the next day. Tyson and I were one of the first few people who left the meeting room. We both headed towards our room to have a quick meeting with Alpha Fred via mindlink as to what had happened in the meeting. He was happy with the meeting's progress, yet weary from the news that rogues have been attacking packs more and more these past few days.
After our meeting with Alpha Fred, Tyson turned to me and looked me straight in the eye, but still kept quiet.
Sighing, I knew that I should say something than let the silence kill me.
"Uh I-I'm going downstairs for dinner. We haven't eaten yet, and Brian! I-I'm sure he's looking for us. You know him, he's like a kid who wants everyone's attention."
I dashed out of the room towards the kitchen before Tyson could even say anything.
As I walked towards the kitchen, my phone started vibrating. It was a message from Toby. He sent me a photo of him, and a few of our pack warriors doing an intense training, with a caption that read, yeah, I don't think these five or anyone else will slack during training after their punishment! Haha!
I couldn't help but laugh and started typing my reply when I suddenly hit a wall. I looked up and my eyes locked with a pair of emerald green eyes. Mate! My wolf yelled in my head. My mate?
Before I could utter a word, my mate pulled me towards him, and wrapped me in a warm embrace. He slowly lowered his head down to my neck and inhaled my scent. "Mate. My mate," he whispered.
