Ending the Nightmare (1x12)

Tessa P.O.V

I woke up fully rested after Eric's visit. He left me some flowers on his pillow. I gingerly picked them up to look at them. They were from the house which meant that he never ventured far. They were pretty daisies & were a nice morning gift. My sweet moment was interrupted when Sookie ran into my room with tears.

"Jesus, Sook what on earth happened?" I screamed as I made room for her

"Jas, he's in jail." Sook sobbed as I consoled her

"For what?!" I nervously asked

"Killing maudette, dawn & now Amy. He confessed last night. What are we going to do?" sook sobbed which shook my core

"Get dressed. We're going to see him." I flatly said as my mind scrambled

I quickly got dressed & ready. I was still in disbelief but my anger was seeping through. In this state, I could wipe out the town. Luckily, I had a decent amount of control & wouldn't go on a rampage.

"Where's my brother!" I shouted as we stormed in. Everyone looked terrified, even Kenya.

"Tes, he's in a cell right now. I don't think he wants visitors." Kenya nervously warned us

"I don't care. We're seeing that idiot. Don't try to stop us." I growled back

"Fine, I'll walk you back." Kenya crumbled before leading us in

"Girls, you can't come in." Ellis scrambled

"We're seeing our brother." Sook retorted

"He's only allowed one visitor at a time." he countered

"Really don't care. You can either let us go or I'll move you myself." I angrily replied. He quickly moved aside out of fear after seeing the anger in my eyes. "Good boy."

"Jas! What the hell have you done?! Why take the blame for these horrendous things." I cried as we embraced through the bars

"I'm sorry, girls. I'm so sorry." Jason apologised

"You have nothing to be sorry for." Sook reminded him, " I just wish we got here before you confessed to something you didn't do."

"I don't even remember any of it...I just know I did." Jas told us. Now, we desperately needed to catch the killer

"Jason, you need to shut it, okay? Because we're bloody close to finding the real killer. We're not going to let you take the fall for some psycho's crimes." I assured him

"How are you so sure?" Jas asked which made me smirk. This was the first time that he looked hopeful

"His name is Drew Marshall. He had a sister named Cindy, & we think he killed her. Strangled her just like Maudette & Dawn & Amy." Sook explained as we sat down

If they knows all this, then how come she hasn't gone to the cops? Rene thought

"I tried that. So far the cops have done diddlysquat to protect me & my family." Sook snapped before giving the rest away, "Besides, we don't have evidence. We don't even know what Drew Marshall looks like."

"So you can't be really sure that he's the killer?" Rene doubted which surprised me. I was hurt that he was so sceptical after we had become good friends

"I've seen what's inside his head." Sook defended us

I never believed that about her, but it's true. There's all kinds of strangeness in this world... Rene thought before getting interrupted by Jason
