Chapter1: Dreams Become Reality

  I woke up to my alarm clock blaring to "Music Sounds Better With You" by Big Time Rush.  Today was the day.  Today was the day that I was gonna move out of my parents basement.  I went to my closet threw on my house coat and slippers then ran upstairs and out the door to the mailbox.  I ran as fast as I could the mail wasn't even here yet I wanted to be early so I could just get it from the mailman when it got there.  I saw Gary the mailman coming and I jumped up and waited for him to reach our mailbox.  "Marissa I think you are gonna be very happy," he said that with a smile.  Gary knew how long I have been waiting for this letter.  You see I applied for this college out in Los Angeles called LA Dance and Design University (DDU) for short and today was the day the letters came in.  He handed it to me and I started running for the door as I reached the door I yelled to him, "THANKS GARY I owe you!"  I ran in and threw the other mail on the kitchen table and took the letter and carefully started to open it.  When I fully opened it up I screamed very loud and started running for my parents room.  I barged into the room seeing a very groggy mom and dad just waking up.  "Mom Dad look what just came in the mail I got in I got into the university in LA!!!"  "Oh that is so great honey!"  My mom got up and gave me a great big hug, so did my dad.  Me and dad went into the living room and sat down while my mom headed off to the kitchen to make some coffee.  An hour later my little sister Lilly came into the living room as happy as can be and grabbed the TV remote and turned on her fave show "Big Time Rush" it was the Big Time Concert episode.  My mom came in with a tray with our coffee on it I drink coffee but only if I have Hazelnut flavoring for it.  "So Rissa," my mom said, "what else did the letter say?"  "Well it said that Move-in day is on August 31st and also there is a number here for a job at Paramount Studios and Columbia Records.  It says that they need a music video coreographer and a costume designer wow this looks like it is right up my alley."  "Wait what studio did you say?," my little sister Lilly said with a curious look on her face.  "Umm it says Paramount Studios and Columbia Records."  "OMG! Sis that is the studio BTR works at!!"  "Wow I guess I should give them a call then."  I went into the kitchen and dialed the number on the note:  "Columbia Records how may I help you?"  "Um yes hi my name is Marissa Moody I was sent a letter from DDU and it says you have a job opening for me."  "Aww yes miss Moody we really love your work we would love to have you work with us."  "Of course I am coming over there to go to DDU in the fall I can start anytime after August 31st."  "Great how does Sepetember 3rd sound to you?"  "That sounds great I guess I will see you then."  "Yes you will thank you so much."  I hung up the phone and headed up to my room to call my friends.  When I got up there I didn't even call my friends I just layed down on my bed amazed that I was gonna be working in the same studio as Big Time Rush.  Maybe I would be able to work with them.  The 31st didn't come fast enough.

*August 31st*

 Me and my parents and little sister drove up here from Nevada and the campus is beautiful I can't believe I get to go to school here.  We went in to find the registration desk and get my room assignment.  It looks like I am rooming with a girl named Camille.  Let's see room 308 ah here it is.  It is on the 3rd floor of the dormitories.  We went into my room and it looks like Camille was already there.  "Well honey I guess we will leave you here to get yourself settled in."  "Ok, Thanks for driving me here mom I will come and visit for Thanksgiving break."  I gave my parents and my little sister hugs and they left to go back to Nevada.  I went to put my stuff on my bed when Camille comes out of the bathroom.  "Oh hi you must be Camille I'm Marissa your roomate."  "Hi it's nice to meet you I'm sorry I sort of just picked my side of the room and didn't wait for you."  "Oh it's ok this side is fine."  "Ok I'm goin down to check out the Cafe you want me to get you anything while you unpack??"  "Umm a large Caramel Machiato would be nice."  "Ok I'll be right back."  I started to put up my posters on my side of the room and then I noticed Camille had some BTR posters on her side of the room also.  I giggled to myself  because she has hearts around Logan.  Once I got my posters put up I started putting my clothes in the closet.  I finally got finished with putting my things away so I sat down on my bed to take a load off.  Finally Camille walked into the room with my coffee.  "Sorry the coffee bar was very crowded i hope it's nice and hot."  "Ok thanks it's perfect."  "So I guess you like BTR too."  I smiled at her.  "Yea I am kinda in love with Logan I am going to a concert next month and I have VIP tickets so I am very excited."  "Cool I actually have a job at Columbia Records as a music video choreographer."  "OMG! you are like the luckiest girl ever!."  "Yea I've heard my sister is in love with them she sorta turned me into a RUSHER."  "They left the number to the studio at the bottom of my exceptence letter."  "When do you start?"  "Umm September 3rd."  "Wow I would love to be you."  "Yea alot of people do."  "Well I guess we should get to sleep since we both have morning classes."  "Ok good night."  I drifted off to sleep and was thinking about my new job.  When I woke up in the morning Camille was already up and at it.  I looked at my alarm clock and it was already 9:00 am.  "OMG! Camille I overslept why didn't you wake me!!??"  "Marissa settle down today was just the day to get our schedules."  "We actually don't start classes until September 10th."  "Oh really I must've missed that in the letter."  "Well do you wanna go get dressed and we can go to the mall."  "Sure I'll be ready by 9:30."  I grabbed my clothes out of my dresser and headed for the shower.  I got out of the shower and threw on my lime green shorts and my tank top.  I threw my hair up in a messy bun and grabbed my purse then headed out the door with Camille following.  We went to the parking lot and took Camille's car because my car is a piece of junk.  We got in her car and we started driving off I went to turn on the radio and she had her BTR Elevate CD in the player.  I smiled a big smile and cranked it up loud.  We were having so much fun jammin out to our boys.  I was on my phone checking twitter and I noticed Kendall tweeted: The car next to us is blasting Elevate! Nice! :) @HeffronDrive.  I was very shocked I looked over to the car next to us and it was them.  Next to us in a big black jeep was Big Time Rush I told Camille and she couldn't look because she was keeping her eyes on the road.  I looked over and noticed Kendall looking at me I started to feel myself starting to fangirl majorly.  But instead I just threw him a big smile and blew him a kiss he acted like he caught it and put it up to his heart.  I was in lala land thinking about what just happened I responded to his tweet and said:  That's me! LOL guess it's a small world :P @TeamKendallS1.  We finally got to the mall and my phone was ringing I got a tweet it said: @HeffronDrive, @1LoganHenderson, @TheCarlosPena, and @JamesMaslow are now following you on twitter.  I showed Camille and we let out little fangirl shrieks and headed into the mall.  Me and Camille headed over to the poster shop we both decided to get a couple new BTR posters.  They were so cute!!  I got one with just Kendall on it and one with all the guys on it.  After that we went to check out a couple more stores including Aeropostale, Hollister, and American Eagle we got us some new tanks and shorts there was this little dress in the storefront that I was just dying to buy at Hollister.  It was dark green with lime green polkadots on it.  "Marissa you know that dress would look very gorgeous on you."  "Yea but I have already spent enough today I will come back for it later."  "Suit yourself."  "Now I'm hungry let's go to the food court."  We headed to the food court not knowing what to expect me and her decided to go for pizza.  Papa Imo's pizza can't get better than that!  We found a table and sat down and we were talking about all the stuff we bought.  Out of the blue someone comes and asks us something,  "Excuse me do you think we could sit with you guys?"  We looked up not knowing who it was I looked and saw the boys of Big Time Rush asking to sit with us.  "Umm Sure!" Me and Camille scooted over for there would be room for the four of them.  There was an awkward silence until one of the boys broke it,  "So I guess you guys were the girls who were blasting Elevate on the way here."  "Yep that's us we are big fans."  Camille still hasn't spoke.  Logan started to speak and she perked up, "So were are you 2 girls going to school?"  Camille answered, "oh we are roomates at DDU we both have the same classes."  "Oh cool our studio is close to there."  After about 20 more minutes of talking to the boys Logan finally got up and said, "Well I guess we better get going we have to get back to the studio."  We said bye and they left the foodcourt and left us stunned and starstruck.  "Camille did that really just happen?"  "Yes, Marissa Yes it did."  We went back to the dorm and started getting ready for bed I couldn't wait for tomorrow to get here.  I woke up ready to face the day today was the first day of me working at Paramount Studios.  I went to the bathroom to take a shower.  I just decided to wear something comfortable so I just threw on a pair of sweat pants and a tank top I grabbed my sweatshirt because it is kinda chilly in the mornings here in LA.  I grabbed my gym bag with my change of clothes and cds and other things then said bye to Camille and headed off to my first day at work.  I arrived at Paramount and went to the gate:  "Hello may I help you?"  "Umm yes my name is Marissa Moody I am the new employee here."  "Oh miss Moody nice to meet you here is your parking sticker and all the info you need is in those packets."  "Thank you have a nice day."  "Thanks you 2."  I drove over to the employee lot and went to my parking spot.  Let's see spot 33, there was a sign that said my name in front of the spot that said "Parking for Marissa Moody only."  I thought that was pretty cool I headed in and went to the front desk the lady told me that I will be working on the BTR set which is Studio 2J.  I headed off to the studio and when I got there a lady was standing there waiting for me.  "Hi you must be Marissa."  "Yes that's me it's very nice to meet you."  "Thanks,you 2 now I need you to go to the dance studio and start working on the dance moves for our MSBWU video."  She gave me a lanyard with a few keys on it she started explaining to me, "These are your keys for the studio and your dressing room were you can go and relax when you get a break, we also work very long hours so there is no definate time that you will be back to the college at a certain time so I would suggest that you bring some comfy clothes to keep in your dressing room."  "Well that's fine the only days I really need to be back at a certain time is on Sunday nights because I have classes on Monday mornings from 6:00 am to noon on Mondays and then I can come back here and work."  "Ok that's fine my name is Molly by the way I am the boys manager and one more thing here are the tracks to all the boys songs for you to keep just in case you have some free time you know you can check out all there songs."  "Thanks I am already a big fan I have all their albums but this will be great thanks alot."  "And Marissa here is my number put it in your phone just in case you need anything."  "Thanks I'm gonna head to the studio."  "Ok have fun I will send the guys down as soon as they are done filming this scene."  "Ok Thanks!"  "No problem!"  I made my way down to the studio I walked in.  It was very nice it had a piano in the corner and then a big mirror for the guys can see themselves when they are dancing, and a big open dance area.  I put in the guys track she wanted me to work on and started figuring out the dance.
