H-hi there I'm Neko I'm here to tell you my story...I'm quite shy, so I'm sorry if I stop talking. I'd introduce you to my family but uh...*face turns red* Oh by the way I'm half cat *twitches my ears*, so onto my story.
"Im home!" I said from the kitchen.
"Neko get in here, now!" *Neko walks into the living room*
"Yes mom?"
"What did I say about leaving your books down?!" she said looking at me. "S-sorry mom I forgot to pick them up before school. Don't be mad please." *Neko looks down at the ground*
"How am i not supposed to get med when i spend almost a hundred dollars on school books?!" *she gets her belt*
"Mom don't!" *Neko runs out the front door*
"Neko come back here now!" *Neko looks back while running*
"Ugh fine be like that Neko!"
*Neko runs to the old abandoned train tracks and walks down them*
"Why does she have to be like that?" I thought to myself.
*Neko sees something on the train tracks*
"H-hello?" I said hiding my ears.
"Hello?" I repeated while getting closer.
"Oh hello there i didn't hear you from that far."
*Neko mumbles* "I don't think anyone could with my soft voice" Neko said while looking down.
"Well, I'm Scott" *Scott reaches out his hand*
"I-I'm Neko..." *Neko reaches out his hand and shakes Scott's*
"I take it you're a little shy Neko?"
*Neko stutters* "Um yes...I am"
"Oh well there's no need to be shy around me." *Scott laughs a little*
"Haha ye most say that and then I become more shy" *Neko's face turns red*
"Neko where are you?!" screamed Neko's father.
"Oh no..." said Neko panicking
"What is it Neko?"
"We need to go now." *Neko grabs Scott's hand and runs deep into the woods*
"Neko what is going on?!" Scott said panicked
"T-that was my dad...he's looking for me."
"What, why?" said Scott confused
"I uh...i ran away from home...and before you ask why it was because before i went to school i forgot to put my books back so my mom was going to hit me..."
"Dude that's screwed up like all the way.." said Scott while looking at Neko.
*Neko looks at the ground and tears up* "I know it is and it's been like that for 15 years..."
*Scott grabs Neko's hand and holds it* "I'll be here for you whenever you need it, okay?"
"O-okay" I said crying
*Scott wipes Neko's face and lifts up his head* "We're in this together i promise"
"Neko! Help me!"
"Who was that?!" said Scott
*Neko runs out onto the train tracks to see his sister* "Scarlett!" I screamed
*Scarlett runs to Neko* "What's going on Scarlett?"
*Scarlett stutters* "M-mom...uh...dad...uh...mom's dead Neko..."
*Neko grabs Scarlett's hand and gives her to Scott*
"Scott watch her I'll be back"
"Uh, okay?"
"I'll explain later"
