Today is normal, until I will enter the large church that has held my peace for years will take me to my Lord. But for now, I must sit at the small table in the bell tower that over looks the city, and sip tea. The warm breeze that caresses my cheek begs me to look out at the morning sunrise. It was my job to keep the city safe in the sight of God. Live humbly as would a nun. I took care of the London Cathedral, this all being the will of the Good Queen Victoria. I was taken care of by the Queen, having a purely charital business for those who are in need, she cherished me. The Queen was one of the only persons who believed in my innocence. When I pleaded such, she gave me sactuary within the church, telling me that God have saved me. In truth, it was my angel who had saved me.
When I was alone in the cold stone floor, clothing ruined with rips, mud, and blood, I started to pray.
"Please! I'm innocent! Please will someone save me from----"
"Lady Ameilia." my thoughts were pulled away from me with the soft familiar voice of my gaurdian angel. I looked up at my angel in black with bright eyes. "I appoligise Cadmus. I was thinking about how we met." He looked down at me and smiled, tilting his head to the side. Cadmus put a hand on my head and smoothed out my curly blonde hair. His hand traveled down my cheek, as the wind from before, then lifted up my chin.
"It is quite the memory." he was so kind to me, and I am forever greatful to him for saving me. He was the reason I knew that God would always and forever be with me. "I came to escort you to your pew." I nodded and set down my tea after another sip. We traveled down a spiral staircase, minding our heads so that they didn't hit a bell that would soon ring throughout London. I wore my light blue dress with matching hat. The middle had modest white ripples that cascaded down to my ankles with the rest of the dress. My bonnet was decorated with a single red rose and white ribbon. I only wore nice clothing when attending Sunday mass or meeting with a noble or the Queen.
Cadmus sat me down in a front pew with a clear view of the cruifix. I could imagine the pain Jesus Christ had suffered for our sins. I kneeled down and folded my hands. With my eyes closed I started to pray.
----
My short heels clicked on the cobblestone path on the roads outside the church, hands folded in front of me such as a proper lady should. Now is when I had tea with the priest however he had fallen ill, making him uncapeable to come near to anyone without infecting them as well with his illness. So I decided for a stroll with Cadmus. There I had given money to at least ten families who needed it. There was one person that had caught my interest. He was a nobleman with no smile and a sevant quite like mine. But he didn't look like an angel. The tenseness I felt Cadmus feel was almost unbearable.
Cadmus knew of my empathy dissorder. There wasn't anything a doctor could do, I just had to live with it. And so he knew that I would be asking questions.
"Who was that? The young boy and his butler?" he helped her undress in her small residence a few blocks away from the Cathedral.
"I'm not sure. The nobleman felt pure at heart, but surrounded my darkness. His butler...was pure black. No light to be found." He explained as he undid my corset, the strings vibrating as they unweaved themselves from my torso. I gripped the post of my bed as I thought about the black heart. No one could have something that black. My grip loosened when I felt the wind come through the window, wraping my back in peace. "Lady Amelia?"
"I would like for you to find out more. It is my duty to the Queen to rid her kingdom of evil." I raised my arms so that Cadmus could slip on my white nightgown and pull out my curly blonde locks. "It is my job to have this world become pure." my tone was ever hardly serioius. I usually had a charming composure and a bright smile. Until I get word of something impure needing to become irradicated.
I laid down in my bed, and Cadmus covered me in my sheets. "And please...you and the queen are the only ones who I will let call me Mia. Informally or otherwise." The bells of the grand cathedral rang throughout the city to lull the noblemen sleep. The sun had set and it was indeed time to rest. In the morning, she would have information about this black butler and his master, and she would have tea.
