The Promise

*Intro*

Hello! I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jess. (: My best friends are Alli Simpson and Cody Simpson. They're like siblings to me. I love them to death! My favorite color is blue because it reminds me of the ocean. I have blonde beachy hair, tan skin, and blue eyes! Well that's all for now. Bye!(: 

Chapter 1

I was over at the Simpson's laughing and having a good conversation with Cody and Alli  when Cody's parents came in smiling from ear to ear while holding a laptop. "What happened?" Cody asked. "Cody you know that video you posted of you singing 'I'm Yours'?" Angie asked. "Yeah..Why?" Cody asked still confused. "Someone named Shawn Campbell called and said he wants to sign you to Atlantic Records!" She squealed. "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Cody screamed jumping out of his seat. "YES!" Angie said smiling. "Cody I am so happy for you!" I said hugging him. "Wait..Isn't that in Los Angeles though?" Cody asked. "Yes. That's the only bad part. We'd have to leave everyone and move out to Los Angeles." She said. Cody and Alli both looked upset. "Aw guys don't worry! I'll come out and visit you guys and we can always call and skype each other!" I said smiling. "Oh there's also one more thing." Angie said. "What is it?" Cody asked. "We leave tomorrow.." She said. "WHAT?!" Cody, Alli, and I said in unison. "I'm really sorry kids." She said giving us a half smile before walking leaving. "Well I guess I'll go home and let you two get packed! I'll see you tomorrow!" I said hugging them then walking to my house which was two houses away from theirs. I grabbed my PJs out of my drawer and walked into the bathroom. I stripped down my clothes and hopped in the shower. As I was washing my body I started crying realizing my two best friends were leaving me tomorrow. I stopped crying and hopped out of the shower. I then dried myself off, got changed, and fell asleep not wanting tomorrow to start.

*next day*

"Hunny wake up. We're going to the airport to say goodbye to everyone." My mom said waking me up then leaving my room. I sighed not wanting to say goodbye. I changed into my denim shorts, baby blue shirt, and my baby blue converse. I combed through my long blonde hair and put it up in a pony tail. I sprayed some perfume on and headed out the door to my parents waiting outside for me. We got into the car and drove to the airport. Along the way a few tears rolled down my face. Once I stopped crying I noticed that we were at the airport already. We walked inside and found them at the gate just about to board the plane. I ran over to alli and gave her a huge hug. By this point we we bawling. I let go and said goodbye while smiling at her. She smilled back and walked over to my parents. I walked over to Brad and Angie and said goodbye. They were like my second parents. After talking to them I walked over to Tom and bent to to his level. I ruffled his hair and said goodbye while hugging him. We both pulled away and smiled at each other. Now time for the part I was dreading...I walked over to cody trying to fight back my tears and smiled at him. We both hugged for about a minute then let go. I looked into his eyes and said, "Don't ever forget about me, Codes." He smiled  and said, "I won't." "Promise?" I asked holding out my pinky finger. "Promise." He said wrapping his pinky finger around mine. I gave him one last hug goodbye and waved to everyone as they walked towards the gate. They all turned around and smiled at us while waving. Once they boarded the plane I broke down crying.....My best friends are moving all the way to Los Angeles, CA......
