I need your care;
I am a part of yours,
So love me fair.
Ups and downs all I had,
Tears and laughter all I bore
I always looked for you
But I was left alone with my heart a sore.
This big world is so not mine,
Dark has taken hold of my sight,
I fear I am about to be lost,
Please pull me out, into your light.
Never had you in my rhymes,
Never had you in my stories,
Without you, they are incomplete,
With you, they could have been my glories.
I always felt around for you
Your touch was to keep me sane
It should have been the cure
But now it is just a pain.
