She was afraid to love again,

Afraid to be crushed again.

But you came,

You came like a sun

And dried the rain in her life,

Putting a stop on her run.

She used every crack as brick,

Every shard as her concrete,

She built the wall with her heart

Or what remained of it.

You took every crack down with a smile,

Took out every shard with a touch

You strengthened it,

Not the wall, but her.

She was adamant, she refused to repeat history.

But you loved her

Loved her enough to open to you,

Loved her enough to fall for you,

Loved her enough to break over you.

You put every piece right to her left,

You pieced her all new

Only for you to tear her all the way down.

You disturbed the laws,

What she had coming she actually saw,

She was killed once,

You killed me for the second time.
