I never believed in miracles until I found him, lost and alone.
I was hurting more than anyone could have imagined, but he took that all away.
"I-I HATE YOU!" I screamed, throwing my arm in the air, hoping to catch something. Maybe drive my fist through his face like I wanted to. But I couldn't now, somehow, I was too upset.
His face was blank, almost emotionless. He looked a bit worried, or maybe that was fear. "C-calm down, people are staring." He whispered, sending me into a rage.
"I DON'T CARE, MATT!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face. "YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH THAT SKANK!" I continued, pointing at the perfect blonde in the corner of the shop.
Her eyes screamed confusion, as she looked between me and Matt. She had perfect blonde hair, perfect eyes, too perfect...
"Was I not enough for you?" I cried, lowering my voice to a pained whisper.
Matt Lilst had been my everything. We had been dating for almost a year, and I loved him. He'd moved schools this fall and thats when things started to go south. My friends warned me that he was no good - but I didn't listen. I was kicking myself now, for not believing them.
He looked sad now, like he actually pitied me, but I couldn't take that now. "We're done." I whispered, pushing past his shoulders.
"Maria, wait!" He called, but I kept on moving.
