The cold air whipped on your face as you rode a dragon; it wasn't uncommon for knights to own dragons in your kingdom, and that's what made your kingdom powerful. You raced over the ocean and took a deep breath of the salty air.
Y/N: "Smell that, Fangus? Fresh morning air!" you exclaimed happily. Your dragon roared with agreement.
Soon your smile fell as you were surrounded by storm clouds, you tried to fly out of them, but before you could lightning struck Fangus' wing; causing you to spiral down.
--------<Astrid's POV>--------
Astrid: "The storm came early, Hiccup!" you exclaimed, running up to the chief. "We have to get everyone inside!" your voice can barely be heard over the thunder and rain.
Hiccup: he nods, "Get the dragons inside, and I'll make sure everyone is in their houses."
You nod as you both run off in different directions; once you finished making sure all dragons were inside you saw a Timberjack crash into the nearby woods. Before you could do anything Hiccup grabbed your wrist and ran to the greathall, he sighed and shut the giant doors behind you two.
Astrid: "We have to go back! I saw a Timberjack crash into the woods!" you pull your hand from his grip.
Hiccup: "We can't go back out there, it's to risky!" he flopped down on a bench.
Astrid: "What happened to the Hiccup that would run miles just to save a dragon?" you asked angrily.
Hiccup looks down and doesn't answer you, it has been about seven months since you two broke up.
Hiccup: "We'll send a search party as soon as the storm clears." he gets up and grabs a book from a shelf.
--------<Time Skip>--------
You were flying around on Stormfly, when you saw the same Timberjack making a tent with its wings.

You landed Stormfly, and tried to sneak over without catching the dragon's attention. But you failed, the dragon snapped its jaw at you.
Astrid: "Easy, I'm here to help." you held your hands up to show you aren't a threat.
The Timberjack opened up it's wings after it heard you say you were going to help, the dragon was covering a male in armor and cuts.
Astrid: "Is this your rider?" you asked the dragon, and they nodded.
Hiccup: "Astrid! Where are you?!?" He yelled to you.
The Timberjack growled at the potential threat, you held out your hand and Hiccup saw the dragon, then you, and finally the male.
Astrid: "It's okay, Hiccup help me carry him." You told the shocked male.
You and Hiccup carry the unknown male back to the village as his dragon flew over head.
--------<Y/N's POV>--------
You could hear two voices outside of a room you're in; one male and one female voice.
Female Voice: "I know he doesn't seem like a threat, and that it was my idea to bring him here, but we should watch over him!"
Male Voice: "Fine, Astrid. But I know he's not a threat!"
Y/N: 'So the girl's name is Astrid? Unless there's two girls.' (This is you thinking btw)
You get out of the bed and you wince as you stand up, you sit back down and notice a pair of crutches. You grabbed them and propped yourself up with them.
Astrid and Hiccup walk in, causing you to slightly flinch.
Y/N: "Where am I?" you ask the pair.
Male Voice: "You're on Berk, I'm Hiccup and this is Astrid." he points to himself and then to the blonde.
Astrid gives you a cold stare; you manage a little nod.
Y/N: "I'm Sir Y/N, and um...if you don't mind me asking what are you wearing?" you point to the fur and leather gear, normally only hunters wear clothes and gear like that, but you're almost positive they aren't hunters.
Astrid: "I could ask you the same thing, I mean why were you wearing metal armor?" she asks you suspiciously.
Y/N: "I'm a royal knight of a grand kingdom, what's it to you?" you ask, forgetting about the brown haired male known as 'Hiccup'.
Astrid rolls her eyes before leaving, Hiccup sighs and you turn to him.
Hiccup: "Sorry about her, she doesn't trust outsiders after a betrayal." he leads you around the village, you get a lot of stares from the villagers because of your armor.
Two blondes run up to you and burry you with questions.
Hiccup: "Ruffnut and Tuffnut, give him some space." He sighs.
The two blondes sigh and run off, trying to trip each other. Hiccup leads you to a large building, in it you recognize a dragon roar.
Y/N: "Fangus!" you went as fast as you could on the crutches, you spotted your dragon and went over to her. "Fangus, how are you? You aren't hurt are you?" you give a concerned look for your dragon.
Astrid was washing her scales when you came along, Hiccup walked to her side and whispered something to her; you couldn't hear it, but that didn't matter.
Astrid: "She's fine, couldn't say the same for you though." she continued to give you the ice cold stare.
Y/N: "Thank the gods." you sigh and she lays down wanting you to scratch her back, you take the hint and do as she wanted.
Hiccup: "It's getting late, you should get some sleep Y/N"
As if on que you yawn, with a small nod Hiccup leads you to an unused house. Astrid follows, but stays even though Hiccup leaves.
Astrid: "I don't trust you, so I'm going to watch you. Don't try anything funny." she warns.
Y/N: "I won't, but where are you going to sleep?" you ask, if she doesn't have anywhere to sleep then you'll give up your bed for her.
Astrid: "I'm not going to sleep, now go to bed." she sits in a chair in your room.
You lay in the bed and soon after you fall asleep, you don't know how you fell asleep in a new bed, but it doesn't matter.
