GOLDEN {Hangul: 오십년째의 } is a 5 member girl group under SM Entertainment and the sister group to EXO-G. GOLDEN members were seen in music videos with other SM artists, including BoA, Super Junior, and TVXQ. They made their debut in the first month of 2009, a little over a year after their last group, SHINee, had debuted.

After the rumors of EXO-G's Marissa and EXO's Kai started to spread, another one spread into the mix with the rumors of SHINee's maknae, Taemin, and GOLDEN's maknae, Katie, were also dating. Katie has told that she wasn't going to confirm the rumors until her best friend, Marissa, had admitted her relationship. She confirmed and to a big surprise, many of GOLDEN's fans supported their relationship. The last member to admit her relationship was Jolie, saying she was extremely close with SHINee's Jonghyun and took her a long time to realize she liked him more due to her last relationship ended in tragedy. They began dating towards the end of 2016.
Sadly, on December 18, tragedy struck the members and the world when Jonghyun passed away. Jolie went on hiatus after the tragedy, wanting to be alone. Until police had found a letter for her, telling her that he was glad to have her in his life, even if they dated for a short time. She then posted her multiple tattoos in commemoration to him and came out of hiatus to continue pursuing music in honor of him and has debuted as a solo artist, composing and producing her own music.
