Chapter two: Helping Nero and Kira

After Kira picked up Nero, I led them out of the clearing to my house. We had to cross the Black River at some point, so I flew them over it so Kira didn't drop Nero in the water trying to cross it. Not long after we passed the river, we were attacked by a hellhound.

"DAMN IT!!! KIRA GO HIDE SOMEWHERE!!" I yelled at her.

"Okay I'm on it" she replies calmly. I draw my blade and beat the shit out of the hellhound. But I didn't kill it because I don't like to kill animals.

"Okay you can come out now Kira" I say out loud.

"Okay let's continue on." I say. So now we are continuing on to my house.

"How much further 'till we get to your place? Nero is starting to get heavy." She asks with an exhausted look on her face.

"I'll take him from you. And we are not that far from my house." I reply while taking Nero from her.

We finally arrive at my place and I unlock the front door and walk in. I walk over to my couch, and lay Nero on it. I then go off to find my medical supplies to help Nero. I look over at Kira and she seems a little unsure of whether she wants to come in.

"Come on in." I say as I pull out the medical supplies.

"O-ok." she says before coming in the house and shutting the door.

"LUNA! Where are you girl?" I call out to my pet demon cat.

"Who is Luna?" Kira asks me.

"Luna is my demon cat. I normally call her when I get home." I say with a slight smile.

"Oh well that's cool" says Kira with fascination.

I then see her come running in the house from her cat door.

"There you are my pretty girl!" I say as she walks up to me.

I scratch her head for a bit, then I get the med kit I had and begint tending to Nero.

"Luna is so pretty. Can I pet her when you're done tending to Nero?" Kira asks me.

"Well you can as long as it's okay with Luna." I reply to her question.

"Huh? What does that mean "If it's okay with Luna"?" she asks with a dumbfounded look on her face.

"Because if I don't want you to pet me then I will rip your ass to shreds" Luna speaks to Kira through her mind.

"WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!" Kira says with a face of shock.

"OKAY So that happened. Is it okay if I pet you Luna?" Kira asks Luna.

"Yes you may, I don't mind, I was just messing with you by the way" Luna says through her mind again.

Kira nods and pets Luna from her head to her tail.

"Oh your tails are so cool!" Kira says to me and Luna.

"Thank you" Luna says through Kira's mind.

You're welcome." says Kira.

After tending to Nero's wounds, I put the med kit away then come back to ask if Kira and Luna wanted food.

"Well since I'm done tending to Nero, how about I make you something to eat?" I ask Kira and Luna.

"That sounds good." they both say at the same time. I laugh.

"Okay guys." I say as I go to the kitchen to cook.

I finish making food and I bring it to the living room and put the food down on the coffee table. I sit down on the floor in front of Kira. Then Luna runs over to me and sits on my lap, so I pet her while I talk to Kira. After about an hour and a half of us talking, Nero wakes up. By this point, we had finished our food. I made sure to make enough food for Nero if he was hungry.

"Wh- where am I?" he asks.

"You are in my house." I reply to the clueless Nero.

"Wh- why though? I tried to kill you. Why would you help me?" he asked desperately.

"Because. I am a very forgiving person. And because you seemed interesting to me." I say with a smile on my face. Actually, I brought him back with me cause I had felt some sort of spark and some slight guilt when I saw him bleeding on the ground because of me.

"Nero are you okay?" Kira asks her comrade.

"Yeah I'll be fine." Nero replies with a smile on his face.

"What is that thing sitting in your lap Lillianna?" Nero asks me, curious about the three tailed cat. "This is Luna, my demon cat pet. She is a special one because she has three tails. Most demon cats only have two tails" I reply.

'Whatever she is, she is REALLY pretty.' says Nero.

"Thank you" says Luna through Nero's mind.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!?!? Was that Luna?" Nero said, clearly freaking out.

"Yes, that was Luna. THAT is why I said she was special. She has more abilities than the two tailed demon cats." I said.

"Oh well I thought that was pretty neat" says Nero.

I sit here, talking to both of them for a long time. Every so often I would just listen to Kira and Nero talk. I get lost in thought about the spark I had felt. I sway my demon tail gently as I think. I soon rejoin the conversation while absent mindedly pet Luna who was still sitting in my lap. I smile at something Kira says.

"So how long have you two been in the demon hunter corp?" I ask, genuinely curious about what their response would be.

"I've been in the corp for about 3 years now." Nero replies.

"And I've only been in it for about 3 months." Kira says softly.

~~~~~~~~~ OK guys that is the end of chapter two. I promise there is lemon in this story. I like to build up the characters' romantic feelings first so yeah.
