I looked around the house with a smile on my face. Peggy's house was so elegantly decorated every year. Probably because her family's so rich. But it was always so pretty, I thought Angelica and Eliza put most of it up, they had a higher work ethic than their sister.

I looked up at their huge Christmas tree, beautifully decorated, until the very top where Peggy had ruined the atmosphere of it by putting a picture of herself instead of a star. But that had some charm of it's own.

Frances had already found her way into the kitchen and stolen a cookie. She thought she was being sneaky but I could hear crunching under the table. I'd allow it, but only once.

"So... What did he look like?" Peggy asked cheekily. I blushed lightly. She's the worst in the best way possible.

"What did who look like?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"The guy in the coffe shop, you pigeon."

"Well, he had long-ish hair, he had it up in a bun so I couldn't tell how long, but probably, like, shoulder-length, he had very dark hair and his eyes were the same color. He looked pretty tired. Oh! And he had a baby with him," I described him, blushing lightly.

"Ooooooh, you are totally into him!" Peggy squealed, kicking her legs and giggling like a child. I chuckled softly and shook my head. "No wonder you were staring at him!" She giggled.

"Y'know, the way you described him kinda reminds me of my ex-boyfriend," Eliza said, she was sitting onthe floor, rewriting a gingerbread recipe she'd found online.  I looked at her, suddenly intrigued.

"Oh yeah! What happened to him anyway?" Peggy asked, pulling her hairband out and letting her hair down.

"It just didn't work out and we broke up," Eliza explained, "John, I can show you a picture if you'd like."

"Okay," I said as I watched Frances crawl out from under the table. She went to go steal another cookie but she noticed that I saw her and quickly retreated to her hiding spot lair under the table to rethink her evil plans. Eliza pulled out her phone and showed me a picture of her ex-boyfriend. "Holy crap, that's him," I mumbled.

"Wait, wait, wait... Why the hell would he have a baby?" Peggy asked, giving Eliza a confused and suspicious look. Eliza went pink and left the room without another word. Everything went quiet for a moment and I used that time to take the cookie Frances managed to smuggle and decided to eat it myself.
