Chapter 5

Tony's P.O.V

    After a full week of preparing we finally had come up with a compound that could keep her occupied long enough to to get to her.
"JARVIS do we have a location on Tara?"
"Yes sir facial recognition just picked her up in New York" Why would she be here?
"JARVIS where in New York is she?"
"Approximately one km away in an abandoned building" My eyes widened. What would she be doing so close to Avengers tower.
"JARVIS call all Avengers in the tower and tell them to suit up and meet me in the lobby in 10 and load the compound into my suit"
"Yes sir" I grabbed the compound and ran to put on my suit. We could finally catch her.

Steve's P.O.V

I just started eating lunch when JARVIS told us to meet in the lobby in 10. I grabbed my suit and got in the elevator. As the door opened I noticed that I was the last one here. Although it was obvious that they hadn't started yet.
"Why did you call us?" I asked
"We have a location on Tara Lamira. She's in a abandoned building a km away." Said Tony. My eyes widened what was she doing so close to the tower.
"Do we have a plan or are we going to wing it?" Asked Clint. Ha I rolled my eyes.
"We obviously have a plan, get as close to her as you can and hit her with this" Tony said looking triumphant.
"I thought you said that it wouldn't be done for another week?" Said Bruce
"What is it?" I asked
"Its a compound of Thor's lightning that we..."
"In English" intrupted Steve
"We took Thors lightning and put it in these syringes so if you get this in her system her magic will shut down long enough to get her."
"Why not just use Thors lightning?" If we wanted her down why not just use Thor?
"It would kill her"
"Hello let's go" said Natasha. All the boys looked at her weird and started moving.
"Clint" Said Tony. "Your arrows are coated in this compound. He nodded. "The rest of you all can take a syringe." I grabbed one and walked out. Let's just hope Tonys compound will work.

Tara's P.O.V

I had gotten into the building really easily it wasn't that hard all things considered. I had tracked the director to this building. He really didn't have that many guards. Why was he so close to Avengers Tower? I was about to go closer when I heard something. My shadows strained and then I heard it. Shit how the hell did they keep finding me. Well that means that I'll have to hurry up.
"Stop where you are Tara" I turned around and saw Captain America in all his glory standing there.
"Get out of my way" I had to get him this was my one chance. That's when he started moving and as I turned around suddenly to see something was shot at me. I moved just in time to avoid an arrow? Well they brought all the Avengers then. Shit that means Thor's here. I better get going he's the one person that could stop me. They haven't figured that out yet though. Then Captain America ran at me and I jumped punching him in the face. Then I heard a helicopter the director of HYDRA was getting away. I kicked Cap in the stomach sending him flying into Clint. I ran up the stairs towards the helicopter when Tony landed.
"Get out of my way" I snarled he looked at me.
"Come with me"
"No, get out of my way" I said again. He raised his hand as I heard someone land behind me. I turned to see Thor. I couldn't let my fear show. I turned back to Tony and said. "What are you going to do shoot me?" I wasn't expecting his response of "Yes" and then he shot his booster. I brought my shadows up to see them be completely scattered by his shot. I quickly rolled. But I couldn't avoid the arrow that came out of nowhere hitting me in the shoulder. I quickly ripped it out but I already felt whatever they had in my bloodstream. I was so angry and scared that they would take me back to him. I exploded. Then everything went black.
