The Last Goodbye

Chapter 5: Project with Luke

Its saturday morning i wake up and its 10:30 i get dresses and put a bit of makeup on because im going to Lukes house to do our project! I ring Georgie and tell her everything about me and Luke but i say "i dont know for sure if he likes me but he sure is acting like he does" Georgie says "omg im so happy for you! good luck!". Its now 1:00 and i just finished having lunch with my family my mum, dad and younger brother. I say bye mum bye dad im going to study at a friends house. They say "bye sweetie".

LUKES HOUSE- I just got out of the bus and im walking up to the front door omg how do i look?! i start to panic i ring the doorbell and Beau answers he says "Oh hi Nicole" i say "Hi Beau" he says lukes in the kitchen ill take you there come. I follow Beau into their beautiful house, Theres luke! sitting on the table he stands up and greets me i greet him back in a nervous voice hoping he doesnt realise. Omg theres Gina walking out the bathroom she says "Hii Nicole Luke always talks about you" while she winks at me i say hi back and we chat for a bit then Luke takes me to his room so we can work on the project. He shows me to his desk and we both sit there and talk for a bit then we start doing some work.

Luke asks me "So how old are you?"

I say " im 16 but im turning 17 in two weeks"

"Oh cool I turned 19 this year"

I say "I know haha"

Gina walks in the room and puts some snacks on the desk for us i say thankyou as she walks out.

Luke says to me " So Nicole I was wondering maybe if yo wanted to go to the movies with me tommrow at 7?

i say yes of course i will come

As im saying goodbye to everyone i walk out and go home. I has the best time ever! Im walking into my room to get my phone out to tell Georgie what happened but i realise its not in my bag! Oh maybe i left it at Lukes house..

15 minitues later the doorbell rings (DINGDONG!) i open if and guess who it is Luke! he gives me my phone and says you forgot this i say thankyou as he goes back home.
