The sun shone

But I was alone

The flowers bloomed

But I felt doomed

The sky was bright

But I lost my light

The ocean was clear

But I shed a tear

The people were happy

But my heart was weary

The world celebrated

But I got defeated

And when the day was through,

My heart was broken by you...
