I heard that Stiles had gotten another detention due to him messing around in Harrison's lesson, but I knew better than him just being an idiot for no reason at all, so he must have needed to be somewhere at the right time. My plan was to wait for him after detention and make him talk to me one way or another...I lent against the side of Stiles's jeep as I knew Harrison would keep him in longer than he should do. Detention at it's finest. Suddenly, I heard the door that leads out of the car park, and I see Stiles in all of his weird but cute glory.
"Hey, sorry, Harris literally just let me out of detention," Stiles spoke with haste as he threw his bag over his shoulders while juggling his phone to his ear, but his eyes looked to the ground. "Literally. And he had my phone the whole frickin' time," he finally looked up towards his Jeep and suddenly stopped in his tracks inches away. I stopped leaning on his jeep and faced him, smiling a sweet but wicked smile. But in my mind it was all fun and games but his face had turned slightly white.
"Hello, Stiles, care to have a little chat?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.
"Wait, is that Alice?" I heard Allison speak over his phone.
"Yeah it is," Stiles responded to her question but remained where he stayed, not sure what I was.
"I know it may sound mad, but trust her, she can help us," Allison replied over the phone as he gave me a weird look.
"You want me to trust her. She's supposed to be dead," he announced so wildly through the phone and to me.
"That hurts a girl's feelings," I replied with a smirk, my voice laced with hurt but it was clearly put on. "But, you'll have to trust me and I'll explain everything to you later," I pleaded with him, my eyes searching for him and he knew that I was telling the truth. He gives me a firm nod of the head before walking over to me, pulling the phone from his ear and out in front of us, while putting on a speaker.
"Ok, what's going on?" I asked Allison through the phone.
"There's a new werewolf in school, he's called Isaac and his Dad has been killed, but we don't know who it is or what it was," Stiles spoke, giving me a brief summary of what has happened.
"Well, we need to do something right now. They were asking me all these questions about Lydia and how she was bitten by Peter, and then they sent this guy out,"
"Wait, what guy?" Stiles asked frantically by my side, and the look he held didn't look like a good one.
"He was dressed as a Sheriff's deputy," Allison states over the phone, making me and Stiles stare at one another with a dread look on our faces and in our stomach's.
"They're sending him to the station for Isaac," I spoke as Stiles gave me a worried look, we both knew that the guy dressed as a sheriff's deputy was there to kill him and killing a kid without proof is not acceptable with me, made my blood boil.
"He was also carrying this box with something on it, like, um, like a carving or something," Allison spoke, not sure how to describe the carving of sorts.
"What was it?" Stiles had asked her.
"Hold on, hold on. It's in one of these books," Allison states, I could hear her flipping pages within a book as her voice was silent throughout for a few moments. "I'm taking a picture," She finally spoke, before she went silent again. Just a moment later, Stiles's phone had made a sound and then a picture appeared on his screen as he held the phone up so we could see the image.
"Did you get it?" Allison had asked.
"Yeah, it's wolfsbane, some nasty stuff," I replied to the image we were shown.
"What does that mean?" Allison asked, her voice held with worry as she didn't know what it entailed.
"It means they are going to kill him," I state. What was the point in killing him if he hasn't done anything wrong or even split human blood. "Do anything you can to slow him down,"
"Ok, will do," Allison replied before the phone line went dead and Stiles put his phone back into his pocket, before getting to the right side of his jeep.
"You go to the station to help Issac, I'll go help Allison," I spoke to Stiles, my eyes connecting to his for a moment as he nodded his head before I turned around. Suddenly, Stiles's hand had roughly grabbed my arm. My gaze quickly shot to him, I held a darkly form. He looked kind of scared, it was like when he did stuff to Derek. His hand removed itself from my arm, before he gave me an apologetic look
"I do trust you, you know. But on the other hand, you did die on us, Scott heard your heart stop beating," Stiles states, his hand reclined back to his side, his face plastered in concern. But the answer he wants to know, I could not give it to him at this time.
"Stiles, things aren't what they seem, but can you please not tell Derek. He feels guilty enough for what happened, and I'm the one who wants to tell him," I pleaded my case to him, as I gave a deep meaningful look. But all he could reply was with a shake of his head as he understood the matter at hand. I gave him a sweet smile, before running off from the car parking spot, hoping Allison had slowed the guy who was hunting Issac down.
.....................................
I messaged Allison a while later, asking if she did it and she did it. She slowed down the guy, and now she was on her way to Scott. I told her that I was going to meet her at Issac's house, as Scott was there. I met Allison outside the house before we both entered together, the house was dark, no lights were on as it was a crime scene. She also had a bag full of chains for Scott as he still couldn't control his shifting yet, but I had faith he could do one day. We stood at the basement door, before I swung it open as the door creaked loudly. I shined the flashlight down the wooden steps as I had taken it off of Allison. We both walked down the wooden stairs, I was in front of her as I had the flashlight. Our heels clicked against each step.
"Scott?" Allison went into the basement, as we took each step with care. I heard panting sounds from the corner of sorts, and I shined my light into the direction where it was coming from. Scott was there on his knees, panting as he was having trouble with his shifting. Allison walked over to him and dropped the duffel bag in front of him as she bends down and unzips the zipper, and started to pull meters of metal chain from the bag, they were clattering as she pulled. "Are you sure we have to do this?" She asked, as the chain pulling came to a stop, as she looked at him. Scott was panting heavily as he lifted his head up to meet Allison's eyes, his own eyes glowing a yellow color, but going back to normal as he was trying so hard to keep in control.
"Yes," he replied.
"Where?" I asked. I knew we had to do this, even if Allison didn't even like it. It was for our own protection. Scott's head turned slowly to the left of him, as Allison and I turned our gaze to a metal container, the light I had shined onto it, so we could get a good view. The container was good, it would keep him inside until morning. We began to pick up Scott from the ground, one at each side as we made our way over to the container. I pushed up the lid as I clinged onto his arm as he was unsteady. Scott placed one leg into the box and I let go of his arm as Allison could do the rest. After a moment, Scott was full in and was ready to be locked inside. Allison sighs deeply from the side of me, meaning she was having difficulty locking him up.
"I'll leave you two to talk," I state, mainly to Allison, as she gazed at me for a moment and nodded, before I walked back to the stairs that lead up to the kitchen. My heels clicked as I took each step once again. As I reached the top, I closed the door behind me. I couldn't listen to this, they needed this moment to themselves.
I went over to the kitchen counter as it was pitch black in the house, the only source of light was coming from the windows, that allowed strands of light from the full moon. I placed both my hands flat upon its surface as I stood there leaning into my hands. The thoughts of telling Scott and Stiles what I had told Allison was weighing heavily on me. And, there was Derek. Derek still didn't know I was alive, and it slightly killed me. I feel like he still mourns me in his own way, it might not be the right way but it was his coping mechanism. Just then, I heard something within the house, my head whipped to the right to the open dining room, but I saw nothing. A cold shiver went down my spin, making my hairs stand on point...
This was never a good sign...
