The Game Plan

I sniffled and said,"What am I going to do? This is as almost scary as me having Cancer. You kind of helped me beat it, help me now!" I started crying a bit harder.

"Clare, I really wanna help, but there isn't much for me to do. I can't make the decision if you're having the baby or not. The only thing I can do to help out is probably take you to the doctor." Said Eli.

I said,"The thing is, why do you want to help out so much? It's not your child and wouldn't you be mad?"

Eli said,"It's not something I like but I would help you through anything. At least I was your first, and plus soulmates help each other out... I have an idea!"

"W-What!" I asked eagerly.

"I can ask Simpson if I can come back to work on a small play and spend time with you too." Said Eli with a smile. I could tell he thought it was a good plan.

I on the other hand, had some doubts.

I said,"Eli, That's a great plan but Simpson won't let you switch classes with me and stuff like that."

Eli quickly said,"Yes he would, he likes the both of us so he couldn't say no, and if we tell him about your situation..." I stopped him.

"Whoa there, we are not telling him about you know what. He will tell my Mom!" I said.

"Clare trust me on this. We can tell him not to tell because you are waiting for the right time. I can also take off school, tell them I have a family problem and won't be back until the end of semester." Said Eli.

"No No No. I can't do this to you. NYU is your dream school, you can't be giving up a semester for me." I said.

"Wait, do you want the person to be taking care of your baby, Daddy Meathead? Or me, because if you don't want him to be under custody of your baby, then I can take the job." He said.

I stopped crying and said,"Thank you Eli!" I kissed him so hard and so long I didn't realize someone knocking on my door.
