⚘ Chapter Twelve ⚘

Three days later... (The same days Lunaris has been staying in her cell)

Taehyung's POV

Ugh, this guy. He's been fighting me for three straight days now, but his attacks are powerful. I've been barely keeping up with him. I abruptly got stabbed in the arm, wincing at the light burning through my skin. You see, his weapon is made of moonstone, therefore, the light emitting from it is highly dangerous to demons. My wings emerge from my back, as I try to create some distance between me and Yugyeom. He seemed to catch on to what I was attempting to do and threw his scythe, the intimidating weapon spiraling towards me.

The weapon sinks into my shoulder, my body pinned to a thick tree. The strong light once again burns my shoulder, causing me to hiss in pain. Yugyeom... I should have known he was going to betray us and join GOT7. I should have fucking known. What a friend he was.... such a traitor. The weapon continues to incinerate my shoulder, causing a giant gap to form. If this keeps going, I'm going to burn alive.

"Y-yugyeom you piece of shit. You think I'm just gonna die like this?" I spat, coughing out black blood.

"Yes. I believe that you, Kim Taehyung, deserves death." Yugyeom simply states, shrugging his shoulders.

"H-haha and you called yourself my friend before... HA BULLSHIT!" I yank the scythe out of my shoulder forcefully and threw it back at the man I called a friend in the past. He was the reason why I became so cold-hearted. I seek to destroy this world, using Jeon Luhan's ultimate weapon: Jeon Lunaris, his own daughter. Lunaris was once ours. She was our weapon that we would use to destroy world after world, killing trillions of lives. We were invincible.

But then, Jeon Luhan decided enough was enough, so he claimed Diane as his own daughter, calling her Lunaris instead. He reverted her back to when she was a baby and changed her memories, yet he let her keep her powers of destruction.

Diane was my friend and partner in crime. But she doesn't even remember me. Because Jeon Luhan corrupted her memories. I treated her like a stranger because... it would be painful to remember all the things we did together before we were taken in by Satan. Before we began to kill. I became Satan's loyal servant because I wanted Diane to come back. Even if we had to steal her back.

I loathe Yugyeom. For taking Diane with him. He took her away from me. My precious companion. My body trembled with such rage that I charged at Yugyeom and took him by the neck. My fingertips squeezed his neck tightly, Yugyeom gasping for air. Never would I have thought I was going to kill my best friend.

"STOP IT TAEHYUNG!" A voice yelled, startling me.

It was Jungkook.

"I-i'm s-so sorry T-TaeTae... I r-really am..." Yugyeom trailed off,  losing air fast. My grip loosened. No.... stop it. Stop it. STOP IT!

I clutched my head in pain, dropping Yugyeom on the ground. He coughs, regaining back his breath in slow, staccato breaths.

"YUGYEOM!" Mark runs over to his friend, cradling him, trying to calm Yugyeom's abnormal breathing.

Jungkook tries to run to Mark and past my shaking body, but I grabbed his wrist.

"Princess... you aren't going anywhere..." I mangage to let out, picking him up bridal style, my wings protruding out, ready to flee. But then, a giant fireball barely grazes my wing, almost causing me to drop Jungkook's thrashing body.

Jeon Yoongi.

Dammit. It's going to be three against one... what happened to Jimin?

"You're still weak as ever Taehyung." A mysterious, yet familiar voice rings out, a figure with silver hair emerges from the shadows, shocking everyone.

"L-luna?" Jungkook squeaked out, tears spilling from his pretty doe eyes.

Everyone's jaw dropped.

She appeared the same... yet she wasn't.
