We wandered through the dungeon slowly approaching the boss room. All we found were serpent like monsters even as we passed floor after floor. Talia did as she said she would and trained Jacob on the best way to attack and how to best spot an enemy's weakness in the middle of a fight. His levels slowly climbed as we progressed. We didn't find anything strong enough to challenge me or Talia, so I decided to practice my Insectomancy. I decided that the iron shell bullet ants would hide under my clothes while the Hell fire wasps hid in the black parts of my hair because they had black bodies. Talia would shiver whenever she spotted on of them moving. I made the food and used Talia's horrible directions to navigate us mainly directing us in the opposed direction Talia pointed.
"Which way Talia?" Asked Jason.
"Would you stop I know I'm a bad navigator, but you don't have to make fun of me." She pouted.
"I'm not I'm just pointing out the obvious that you point the opposite way of where you want to go." He said.
"Humph fine then I'll point that way and walk down this tunnel." She proclaimed.
"Its behind us the tunnel changed." I said turning around.
"Hay!" She shouted.
"What I'm only using the tools available." I laughed. "And your curse says you will always pick the wrong path no mater what you do."
"Shut up!" She pouted but followed.
We walked into a large room on the other side of the room was a slid wood door. "Alright guys its another boss room remember Jacob hide while Talia distracts it then attack any vital point you can get." I directed.
"Right!" They both said.
We walked in and the door closed behind us. Talia walked forward while Jacob used Shadow walk and disappeared. I used my sneak skill and released my bugs. Not two seconded after a hissing sound was heard along with flapping.
"Oh, shit flying serpent get back!" I shouted. Everyone retreated as the flying serpent came out.
It was as large as a double decker buss and had poison green scales dripping with poison. Poison mist leaked from its mouth and a pink tong flicked in and out of its mouth. Its yellow eyes glared at us with hate.
"What now we can't get close to it without getting poisoned." Talia said.
"You guys can't but remember I absorbed a poison dragon so I'm immune to poison." I said.
"Oh right." They both said.
"Ok all of you get into my pocket dimension." I said to the insects on me. They immediately scurried into the portals in the Devourer worms. As soon as they were clear I walked for word. "Ok ugly let's get this over with." I said and ran flowered while the knowledge of this enemy ran through my head.
'Flying serpents are a sub species of dragons their scales are weaker, but they are coated with poison. They constantly spew out poison making getting close to them nearly impossible. They are fast but not as fast as a Sonic chaeta or magic making magic the best option but any magic I weald is useless in this small environment. They hate light!'
"Talia, I need something flashy!" I shouted as I got closer.
"Got yah. 'Oh, light head my call come forth in brilliance. Blinding flash!'" She shouted, and light filled the room.
The flying snake screamed in pain as it tried to get away from the light, I got in front of it with Scythe in her scythe from and place the blade in its path. The flying serpent in its bling panic didn't notice the blade and decapitated itself. The head hit the ground with a hiss and the body continued to go until it too fell lifeless. I sighed as I watched the serpent dissipate leaving a long fang its wings and venom. I collected the drops and placed them in my inventory.
