Chapter 3; The Park

Today was a Sunday so I went to the park and got some fresh air. I plugged in my earphones and listened to some Ed Sheeran and leaned against the tree. I looked around and saw little children playing on the swings and monkey bars.

And then I saw an old couple sharing some bread at the bench. Then I wondered around the park until I bumped into someone.

"Oh my gosh i'm so sorry." I said to the guy that I bumped into.

"No no it's okay, it's my fault. Me and my girlfriend didn't look where we were going." The kind man said. Wait. I know that voice. I looked at his face and I realized who he was.

"Calum?" I asked him.

"Ashley!" He screamed at me and hugged me. There was a girl beside him, which made me confused.

"Oh! Um, Ashley, this is my girlfriend Patricia." Calum introduced me to his girlfriend.

"I'm Ashley." I said to Patricia.

"Patricia." She said, shaking my hand.

Calum asked for my number and I gave it to him. Me and Patricia talked a bit, getting to know each other until they had to go.

"Well! I'm sure you two will become best friends sooner or later," Calum said.

"But, we have to go. See you around Ashley." He added.

So now i'm alone with the tree, listening to music. Before I knew it, it was already 6 p.m. and everyone left the park already. I was walking back to my house when I saw two people making out by the tree near my house.

The guy was wearing a bandana, which was really weird. And the girl was a few inches smaller than him. I guess I should just let them do their thing.

But then, I realized who the guy was.

It was Ashton.
