Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase married on September 1st, 1934. The wedding took place on the lawn at the Parthenon, the Chase family summer house in Montauk, overlooking a beach called Half-Blood Cove. It began around six o'clock and the setting sun provided a dazzling backdrop for the ceremony.

Sally Blofis, the mother of the groom, sat on the other side of the aisle, dressed in a green and yellow chiffon frock and a straw hat decorated with pink roses.Among the guests were Apollo Phoebus, who was there with his wife Rachel, a red-haired girl in a coral colored jacket, cream-colored skirt, and large hat with a black ribbon.
