Shit, I've been caught. I don't want to go back now, I thought while tensing up a bit. As I turned around and glared up at whose hand was on my shoulder, I nearly lost my breath. I never seen someone so....elegant. So sharp. "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere, my dear?" He asked, staring down at me with icy, blue eyes. His voice sounded so cool, it sent chills up my back.
"Um," I stammered, "I don't know where to go, really." I have never, not once, been so terrified of someone so...I don't really know how to explain him but he gave me a certain feeling that I didn't like all that well. He stared at me for a few seconds more and then straightened up, slightly nodding. "Alright, follow me then," he said, slightly bowing to me. He turned around and started walking down a long, brightly lit hallway. I hesitated a little before walking with him, trying to catch up. As I caught up to him, I noticed that his skin had a slight red tint to it. I stared up at him and started to wonder what he might be and what he could be because I don't ever remember people to have a reddish tint to their skin. "You know it's rude to stare." I nearly tripped over my own feet.
"How the hell--?! What u talking about? I was not staring," I spat out defensively as I crossed my arms. He laughed softly and looked back at me. "You sure about that? I bet you're wondering why a stranger is walking you around a place like this, aren't you?" I glared down at my feet, not wanting to answer his question. "What was that? I couldn't quite hear you over the deafening silence," he joked playfully. I sighed and glared down harder before mumbling under my breathe. "Maybe." He looked over at me and gave me a chilling smile.
When we got a little ways down the hallway, I looked up and almost went pale. I knew exactly where we was headed. And I thought that this couldn't get worse, we were heading straight for the center of this hell hole; Dr. Daniel's office. I felt so nauseous knowing that I was so close to that monster's office. I looked up at the tall, red man and had the sudden urge to kick the hell out of him. "Why the fuck am I going that maniacs office?" I asked angrily. The man shrugged without glancing my way. "I don't honestly know. I was just told to come and get you by the man himself. But I do know how...vile he can be at times but he wants you, of all insanely disturbed people in this place, to understand the plans he has for this world."
I scowled at what he said and rolled my eyes. Yea, right. Like I'll believe that, I thought to myself. "Vile? Now that's really saying something. He's worse than that, to me. Like, what kind of man enjoys seeing innocent people get dragged into dark allies and get tortured with no care what so ever? Like, who does that?" The man just shook his head, speechless. We had walked in silence for 5 more minutes but it honestly felt like forever. When we finally made it to the doc's door, the man stopped in front of them and turned towards me. He softly puts his hands on my shoulders and gave me a weird look. He looked around before saying something to me. "I advise you be on your guard while you're in there," he whispered. "I have sensed that he has something horrible planned for you. But just in case he tries anything, here." The man took something big and shiny out of his pocket and tapped it a little before sticking the sharp part into my neck.
For a second, I felt a sharp pain going from my neck all through my body before I felt a sudden chilling coolness. Woah. The hell just happened? What did he just give me? I looked around and everything seemed to go by really slowly. It took me a couple minutes before everything was normal again and the man showed me in. Before I stepped inside the office, he gave me a small nod and mouthed the words good luck. I gulped and walked in. I almost jumped when I heard the door shut. I looked around as I tip-toed closer to his desk. In a way, I was glad to see an empty chair face my way, but I hated being in his office, let alone near anything closely related to him. That's why my room is on the far end of the building. Before I sat down in one of the chairs in the room, I felt the temperature around me drop to nearly below zero. Then I realized; so does every other room that doc is in. At this point, I didn't want to turn around. I had that sick feeling, but it was a lot stronger. The bastard was right behind me and I can feel his nasty, slimy breathe on the back of my neck. I closed my eyes and grimaced to myself as his presence made my stomach turn inside and out, trying hard to keep whatever I had that day down. Welp, here goes nothing.
