"How was Valberg?" asks Victor Winchester, his gorgeous hazel eyes really make him looks so much younger.

"Cold," I reply.

We are sitting on my living room, across from each other. I think I know why he's here, but I'll take my time anyway.

"How about your last mission?" I ask back. "Where was it? Vienne?"

"Yes, it was," the broad man answers, a side grin on his lips. "Nothing Stallion couldn't deal with."

"Stallion," I remember the squad a little too well. One of my good friend was in his squad before he died on a mission. However, not once did I blame the leader currently sitting in front of me nor his other fellas. To me, death is inevitable and you shall blame none. "How was everyone?"

"They're all fine," he says. Liar.

Two of his member died on their last mission, does he think I don't know that?

"What about Vixen?" He ask again. "I heard you still have one of your original crew in there."

The words make me arch my eyebrows, amusing how he has the gut to bring that up.

"Two, and fortunately the other two who left is still alive," I say, satirizing.

It clearly aches a nerve, but I don't care enough to continue.

"Well, anyway, why don't you tell me the reason you're here?" I ask him.

"That," his voice gets more serious now, his gaze also. His brown hair really compliment his tan skin. "I'm sure you've heard about the warning of C-Zone."

"What about it?"

"I've had a meeting with the Council this morning," he tells me. "They informed me about the C-Zone, and also an idea to make a mission out of it."

I arch an eyebrow at the statement, motioning him to go on with his sentence.

"I'm here to invite you to join our plan," Victor Wichester says. "We're planning to make an invasion to the Vampire World."

Delusional.

I suppose if I haven't already expect him to say his words then I would've already chocked on my own saliva at how obnoxious the idea is.

But I put a straight face anyway, letting him continue.

"As we know, the gate connects our world and theirs. But for so long now, no human has gone through theirs, so we've figured that if we do a surprise attack and come to their world when the gate is opened, then they won't anticipate what is coming for them," he explained. "They must be preparing to go somewhere in our world and make a base there, but if we can ruin their plan with this surprise attack, we will have a really big advantage and also bigger chance to banish them once and for all."

I take in his words anyway, analizing it as much as I already have my own personal opinion.

But the more I think about it, the more ridiculous his idea tastes in my mind.

"I don't approve the idea," I tell him.

Victor Winchester sets his hazel eyes sharply at me as I say the word. His chiseled jaw looks a little tensed.

Seems fully displeased with my answer.

"Tell me, Rosaline Winter. You're one of the greatest agent in RBD, but why do you choose to turn down this offer?" He asks. "Hide and wait are never a form of bravery."

Hide and wait?

Amusing what this bastard's mouth can let out.

"You are accusing me of being a coward," I point out, a dark smile playing on my lips. "Winchester, your idea is brilliant, but it's very far from the words "well-thought". Because for all we know, we haven't discover any slightest knowledge about the vampire world."
