Getting ready for school she forgot she moved from her childhood city to a house with her cousin basically in the middle of nowhere. The place where she lived was surrounded by trees with lots of land. On the other side of this small town was a huge forest that was filled with rumours, rumours that if you went in there you'd never come back out. This town was named after the forest. Dashwood was where they were.

Putting on a massive blue jumper, she looks out the window to see the sun rise up. This house was full of various paintings of her ancestors and antiques older than herself, it was huge. Being the only child left she inherited this house from her Great Aunty.

Picking up the paper on her desk where her laptop and phone lay she rereads the letter she got.

My dear, i thought i would be able to live longer to see you but time was not on my side. I leave

everything to you. Take care of everything for me. The house is now yours. I am sorry that i am

not there to help you, and has given you such a heavy burden. Know that was not my intention.

As you are the daughter of mine i give not only this house but this necklace too. Do don't take it

off, always wear it. It will keep you safe.

Love

Aunty Celia

"Burden?" she thinks out loud.
