Watts walked into the room with his hands behind his back and his head held high. It was an impressively large room with quite the decor. A glass desk at the centre with a grand seat. Surely the most expensive carpets and the finest china set on the large oak coffee table. It was also excessively bright. The woman, no, young lady who sat behind the glass desk was far from just any beauty. Her dark hair was loose and styled to hang by her shoulder, a rather chic maroon dress with fine gold touches, highlighting her curves and fine body shape. The very figure of a woman who knew how the world worked and what she can get from it. Or so he thought.

" What's with that tacky coat? The color just stings my eyes and ruins my limited addition carpet." She said in a haughty voice. Her violet eyes looked at him up and down with a judgemental look. " Well, if you have something to say, make it like, real quick 'cause I have a schedule and It says that in two minutes I got a hot photo shoot for a dust company." She examined her nails to make sure her nail color was perfect. He was annoyed already but no doubt, the kind of connections she has is no joke.

" You see, our leader has a very interesting business proposal for you. You could say that it might save your life-"

" Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just get to the point already, you're cramping my style." She flipped her hair a little to show distaste. " So? What does your boss want?"

" You see, about your sister, Veena Cloud. Our leader has an interest in her...capabilities and we happen to know her where abouts so if you'd like to know-"

" Oh, I've always known where she is. Just got too busy to look. I couldn't exactly find time to talk to the other sibs about 'cause, well, I literally was so pact at the time and I guess sometimes I just forgot." He could hardly believe what he was hearing, does this woman have no regard whatsoever? She was infuriating. " Okay, look, I'll help you. There's this guy I used to date but we're chill now, he keeps tabs on any research of people's semblance and all that stuff. There could be something on my lil' sis for you there. Here, give him this and tell him, Harley sent you." She handed him a card and a cat jumped onto the table and hissed at him. It made him jump and despise her even more but she is as resourceful as they say. " Don't mind her she's just worried you'll get smudges on my crystal desk."

" ....Thank you for your cooperation." He said as he started to walk out of the room, the bodyguard opened the door for him.

" Oh, and another thing." He turned to her, actually hoping he'd give more. " Don't mess up the carpet, I just bought that. Okay, Joey! You can let him out. Tell your boss I'll date him if he's hot." Her violet eyes winked.

" It's a she." Watts grumbled.

" Ew, nevermind. Bi is not my style. Now, shoo shoo." He cursed a little quietly on his way out. That woman was a pain in the neck. As soon as he left, her expression changed into a more analytical one. " Did you catch all that, Bee?" She asked aloud in the room. Veena came out of her hiding spot, eyes binded and a gentld smile on her face.

" Every word. Must you use the 'dumb blonde' card for negotiations?" She asked her.

" Why not? It works everytime. We all got what we wanted, didn't we?" She said in her usual tone, alluring and vicious. " Now that you this, what will you do about it, little Bee? Oh, Joey sweetie. This is super private, can you step outside for a bit please?"

" I'll talk it over with my faction." She replied as she took a seat. " Thank you for seeing me again, Harley. I really need your help for this one."

" Of course you do, what will you people do without me?" She said sarcastically. Veena scoffed at her sister's comment. " Now, the million lien question. Why didn't you come back?" Silence filled the room as Harley pressed on. " You escaped from your captors, that's a fact. You had so many chances to go home, fact. You were never too far, not until today. That, is also a fact."

" Damn your semblance. I admit that I had my chances but I was still getting used to my semblance and it was only last year that I got my memories as ancient soul-" Harley glared as she slammed her hand onto the crystal. " Harley."

" Don't give me that bullshit, Bee. I don't care what your reason is, the fact is that you've left us. You left our siblings, our mother, father and me. Don't you ever say that you had a reason, you know that you're making excuses. I- just take that blindfold off, I'm not scared at looking at a few ghosts." She did as she was told, they needed to see each other's violet eyes. " When you left, I had to come back to settle everything. Father's depressed, Mum held her own but we all knew she was broken. With Aswad gone at first, Jan in Atlas and Kyga in Mistral, someone had to take care of Avi while Mum was at work. Who do you think it was when our household literally split after you left us?"

" I'm sorry, but there are more things at stake now. I thought of coming back last year but by then, I was in too deep and I didn't want either of you involved." Harley rose from her seat and towered over her younger sister.

" Is that so? Then tell me, 'Old soul'. Just how many have you lost for either being involved or otherwise?" She patted the girl's shoulder and headed for the door. " I have to go. Help yourself out." She left the room and there was nothing but silence. A tear dropped onto the desk and the sound echoed.

" Too many, Harley. Just too many." Despite her tears, she still smiled. Mostly for herself and the fate that may come.
