You lead Fangus out the hanger, because of her size you had to ride her over the village before landing next to Hiccup and his dragon.
Y/N: "Mind if I ask you something?"
Hiccup: "Not at all." He gave you a warm smile.
Y/N: "When did you start training your dragons?" You ask, for you it was centuries ago.
Hiccup: "Oh, well actually a few years back. And I was actually the first to train a dragon...well on Berk."
You nod and scratch your dragons back as you sit on the saddle.
Y/N: "Well let's go on our ride." Hiccup nods and takes off before you. "I forgot how it felt to ride a dragon, even though it was two days." You say to no one in particular.
Your voice was drowned out by the wind and waves crashing down, so you stayed quiet while you ride Fangus.
Fangus had a hard time staying straight, as she wasn't used to you not being in your armor. You held on to the saddle when you saw Hiccup doing barrel rolls, loopty loops, etc.
Y/N: "Show off!" You yelled to him, your voice was barely heard, but he did hear you and you can see him chuckling.

You land Fangus in front of the hanger and lead her inside, Astrid turns around to face you.
Y/N: "What is it this time?" You ask nervously.
Astrid: "Nothing, I was just wondering where you went." Her tone isn't as hard as it normally is, and again you being you don't notice it.
Y/N: "Oh, okay. Well would you mind helping me wash Fangus?" You ask, holding up a bucket and sponge.
Astrid lightly blushes and nods.
Y/N: "Are you okay? Do you have a fever?" You ask pressing the back of your hand to her forehead.
Astrid: "N-no I don't." She swats your hand away and crosses her arms.
Y/N: "Are you sure? I wouldn't want you to get more sick." You say, worrying for her.
Astrid: "I'm fine, now let's wash Fangus." She says, wanting the subject to change.
You nod and you both start to wash your dragon off, once you finished you started to scratch her back; getting a happy purr from her.
Astrid: "You're really good with dragons, let's see how to do with Snotlout's dragon."
Astrid led you over to a monstrous nightmare, and you tamed her as if it was a second nature.
Astrid: "How? She doesn't even like Snotlout!" She exclaimed.
Y/N: "I dunno." You replied with a shrug, "I'm going to head home, bye." And on that you left.
Astrid followed you and stayed the night again, she ended up falling asleep before you. Unlike her you couldn't sleep, so you climbed out a window onto the roof. You stared at the unfamiliar stars, everything is different.
Y/N: Everything is so...wrong, why do I stay here? I'm sure with enough searching I can find home...but I don't want to leave. Ugh, what's wrong with-
Your thoughts were cut off by a blonde and blue eyed girl, you gave her a sad look as she sat next to you.
Astrid: "Do you miss your home?" She asked, staring at the stars as if she was making figures and shapes with them.
You just give a slight nod, you expected her to say something harsh and cold, but you were wrong.
Astrid: "It'll be all right, I'm sure your people are looking for you."
She pulls you into a hug, and you just start to cry into her shoulder; years of depressing events pour out in the forms of tears.
Y/N: "T-thanks." You pull back, smiling as you wipe your red, puffy eyes.
Astrid: "Don't mention it. And I mean that, I will hurt you if you tell anyone." She says, returning to her cold self.
Y/N: "I won't." You chuckle and lay back onto the roof.
Astrid: "Good, I'd rather not dirty my hands." She lays back next to you.
Y/N: Why do I feel like this? It feels like my heart is fluttering.
You can feel your cheeks slightly burn despite the freezing weather, thankfully the darkness made if impossible to see your blush, gods know what Astrid would do if she saw it.
Astrid: "You should get some sleep."
You nod and get up before climbing into the window, you help her in.
Y/N: "You can sleep on my bed, I'll sleep on the floor." before she could argue you get comfortable on the floor.
Astrid sighs and gets comfortable in your bed, she falls asleep easily. And soon after you join her in the dark sleep world.
You wake up before Astrid did, getting up you equipped your armor and did a few stretches.
Astrid: "Morning." she mumbles, you turn to her and give her a little smile.
Y/N: "Morning." you let her do her thing as you make her breakfast.
Astrid: "you didn't have to do this, but thanks."
For the first time in...well ever Astrid smiles at you, it was a cute smile, and honestly you couldn't help but stare.
Astrid: "Is there something on my face?" she asks, snapping you out of the trance.
Y/N: "Hmm? Oh...uh no! I was just curious why you were smiling. It was really cute..." you mutter the last part.
Astrid: "Well don't get used to it!" she crossed her arms, huffing.
Y/N: "M'kay, I won't." you sit across from her and you start to eat.
Astrid: "It's okay, could be better." she lies; honestly this was the best breakfast she had in years.
