"Late already and on my first day" she says walking up towards the school. The bell for class went about 10 minutes ago. The gates to the school were bendy and crooked, paint peeled off the school's outside walls. Dashbury High School, old and a bit moldy but she didn't mind. It made it look like it was from a movie. Wasting enough time she takes a step into the school.
A strange gust of wind blew towards the school, blowing the grass and trees everywhere. Making the gate creek and the school itself moaned under the pressure of something heavy. Ivie looked around but she saw nothing. The atmosphere changed too, just like at the house with the painting it was oddly cold. After the wind blew everything seemed so still at first. She thought she was daydreaming or something because not much sound could be heard, no wind, no birds only her own heart beat. Everything seemed to be in slow motion, the grass and trees moved slowly and a bird flew above unhurried. Even with the sun out the sky got darker as grey clouds covered the sun.
Hard to breathe she tried to move but she was frozen. It hit her then that something was watching her, it was there with her. The feeling got stronger, so did this sudden pressure coming towards her. Another gust of wind bigger than before came rushing towards her, this time with a murderous intention of killing her.
A boy came out and waved to her. "Hey! Girl! Hurry up and get inside!" Ivie blinks and realizes she's staring at the sky. Fresh rain came pouring down onto her face, in the corner of her eye she saw him put something in his pocket.
Snapping out of it she runs into the school door by accident. "Ow" she says rubbing her arm. "Open your eyes and try not to run aimlessly into anything else please, you could hurt someone" he says folding his arms. "Just be glad it wasn't you" she says looking at him. "So your the new kid, and our neighbour." he says walking away inside. *ohh great, people*
