"What was that back there? You dreaming or something?" "You could say that" The halls were light grey and the lockers were light blue, the floor made of lino. It looked just like the ones at her old school, only just gloomy. These halls looked darker but she thinks it's because of the rain.

"That house your in, don't go poking around."The boy stops by a door, she stopped too. "What?" Ivie says looking at him. He points to the writing on the door and immediately it becomes awkward. "Sorry my bad, i'll go to my class now." she says walking pass. "Yeah, you do that" He says going into the boy's bathroom.

Ivie roams around until she finds X7, her  classroom. It was in the centre of the school. Knocking on the door.  An old, fragile woman answered.  "New student?" she  spoke quietly. "Yes...." she looks down to the pin on her shirt. "Mrs Walkers" "Your very late dear but i'll let it slide, come in now, don't be shy"

Standing in front of the class, looking down at the floor, she could feel everyone staring at her, their eyes glued to Ivie, the new girl. "Right class, this is Ivie Ashtin. She'll be joining our class from now on." she spoke loudly, despite her age it was clear.  "Now go take a seat dear" Mrs Walkers spoke softly to her.

Class began as she took her seat by a window. In here there were four rows, Ivie sat in the second row, 3 seats were left with no one sitting there and the tables were made so that only two people can use it. The students didn't really pay attention to Ivie and did their work. Class was quiet.

Half way through the lesson  Mrs Walker's voice became distant, far away. Ivie looked at everyone, there faces were long with chains chained to their necks, just like the ones from her dream. Black smoke hovered around them like flies. Looking out the window she ignores everyone and watched the rain hit the window.

Movement beside her got her attention. "Hello! I'm Esther" she says brightly. The girl in the first row  came to sit beside her. Esther was a small girl, not quite slender but skinnier then Ivie, her eyes shone a bright blue. She didn't have the same aura as the others, she was bright, it shined from the back of her and she has no chains.

*Strange. Why though?*
