There they are. Getting out of their car, the father pulling groceries out of the car, the mother pulling the little toddler out of the car seat.
Our target is the kid. Under that tangle of unusually dark brown curls lies the last ingredient we need. Her father, one of the smartest scientists in the world, left our project years ago, saying that the hybrid experiments was wrong. "You don't have the right to play god," he said as he threw his white coat to the floor and left.
But he can easily be eradicated. So can his wife. The child, that is the only thing that we will be taking with us.
When the family is inside, I send the small armed detail to secure the subject.
"Whatever you do, do not harm the girl. Kill the parents if you need to, but the if any harm comes to the girl, I'll inject you with so many acids that your insides will liquify and leak out of every orfice of your body." I told them. They nodded jerkily and left silently to secure their target. I smiled in satisfaction when the gunshots started./\/\/\__________________/\/\/\
I waked up to mommy and daddy talking to each other scared. I heard steps downstairs and mommy got more scared. Daddy hugged her and kissed her and ran downstairs. I heard a loud boom and mommy screamed. I got scared and started crying. Mommy picked me up and started to run out of the playroom. She didn't go far before there was another loud boom and she fell and we hit the ground. I cried more because my arm hurt and there was some weird ketchup all over me and mommy and the floor. I tried to wake up mommy but she wouldn't wake up. A scary man picked me up and carried me outside. I kicked and screamed until I suddenly fell asleep.
