i lay on a hill under the oak tree that has been here for as long as i can remember. staring at the clouds as i take my break from work...

i awaken to a bird chirping. sitting up so fast all the blood rushes to my head. blinding my vision. standing up  and running down the hill to the long grass, that tickles my legs as i go threw it. thinking of what my dad will say when i walk threw the doors of our small white house. i take one deep breath before walking in.

allyson where have you been?! my dad yells as i walk up to the screen door.

im so sorry dad i fell asleep under the oak tree...

you were supposed to be working again at noon!

i know dad im really sorry, i didnt mean to fall alseep...

tomorrow there will be no break for you. you need to make up for lost time.

with a wave of a hand he dismises me. night dad

not feeling up to eating i walk up the stairs to my room. right as my head hit the bed i was out.

*beep, beep, beep*

my alarm sounds at 5am. urgg rolling out of bed to start my long day of work on the farm. grabbing some clothes and a towel. i head to take a 15 minute shower. i get out and grabe my plaid shirt mixed with pink and peach colors and dark blue skinny jeans. i slide into my outfit quick. brushing threw my dirty blonde hair. pullingit to one side and doing a simple braid. trudging down the stairs making myselk a bowl of rise crispys.

the red barn has always been my favorite place to work in the morning. milking, getting the eggs annd grooming all the animals. grabbing my bucket i head to the stall of cows. petting Betsy (original right? yea my dad named her) but i love her anyways, shes the calmest one of them all and the most loving. right when i walk in im greeted by a big slobbery kiss on the right side of my face. good to see you to bessy. i giggled. when i was done milking the cows. i grabbed a small dish and filled it for the kittens and mama mel. the barn cats if you cant guess. they usually only get fed when i feed them. they get plenty of food with all the mice and other rodents the cetch. there fed quite well but every now and then i give them milk as a treat. petting each of them before heading to the cheicken coop and bring all the eggs into the house fridge. getting out my brush to brush down all the horses and cows.

when the day was done i was walking back from the feilds when something cought my eyes, a white wooded sign at the end of the drive. cerious i walk over to read it. -help wanted on the farm- i read it stunded i cant believe hes gonna let a complete stranger work here. storming into the house i grab my dinner and head up to my room.
