Part 1: "Come on Harry! Let's go, we will be late for our auditions!" you scream to Harry as you walk in to his house. You and Harry have been best friends for 12 years, and he has always been there for you. "I'm nervous y/n! You are so much better than me at singing, what if you make it in and I don't?" he asks. "Are you CRAZY?" you say with a laugh. "No, I'm really scared." he says. "Whatever, let's just go" you say. As you get to the car, his mom has already hopped in with your mom. When you get to the studio, there are thousands of people waiting for a chance at their audition, you can tell it is going to be a very long day. "Okay don't worry, we can do this! Even if we don't make it, there is always next time!" you say and grab his hand. "alright can I practice?" he asks, and starts to sing. Everyone turns to him and starts to watch. When he finishes, everyone starts to cheer. "Wow, scaring away the competition?" you ask and start to laugh. "They are just cheering because I stopped singing" Harry jokes. After hours of waiting, it is your turn to audition. "good luck babe!" Harry says, and kisses you. When you get on stage, your heart stops. You turn to your left and notice your whole family standing there to cheer you on. When you start to sing, the crowd goes silent, and when you are done, there are cheers and applause from almost everyone in the room, two of the judges say yes, including Simon. When you leave, you see Harry walk past you towards the stage and hug him one last time, not yet telling him that you made it. Once Harry is done singing, he comes to find you, and sprints right into your arms, "I MADE IT BABE!" he screams, and you tell him you did too. As soon as you get home, you start to practice. Then there is a knock on your door, it's Harry. "Can we practice together?" he asks, and sits besides you. "Alright but he really need to practice" you say. Harry starts practicing his part first. "I absolutely love your voice" you tell him. After a while of practicing every day, it is almost time for the next phase of the show. "Alright babe tomorrow is the big day" says Harry. "I know! I am freaking!" you say, and start to shake. "All we have to do is get through" he says. The next morning comes, and Harry's family comes to pick up your family. "let's go" he says, and pulls you into his car. When you get there, everyone is practicing, but all you are worried about is getting through. When it is finally your turn, you go on stage with your partner. When you start to sing, you notice the way your voice flows perfectly with that of your partner, but when you are finished, you can tell you have out shined them. When harry is done singing, he finds you,"I'm really nervous" he says, and pulls you into his arms. "Don't worry about it he says. After a while, it is time to find out who made it through and who did not, and Harry is first. "I didn't make it." he says when he comes out, and you start to cry for him. After a while, it is your turn. When you get on stage, you are unsure, but the judges decide to say yes. You look for Harry, but you can not find him anywhere. Later that night, you call him to tell him the news, but he has even greater news. "They called me back in and decided to let me stay!" he says. "What??? That's great!" you scream. "I know, I just have to join 4 other boys, but I am open to the idea" he says full of glee. "what are their names?" you ask. "Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson" he says. "That's great! I guess we will both get to know them very well!" you say. "When do I meet them?" you ask Harry. "well you already met one of them" he says. "what are you talking about?" you ask. "well the boy you sang with is part of the group now" he tells you. "WHAT??? oh my gosh I completely forgot his name! he's is your group? He's gorgeous oh my gosh can I pleaseeee come to watch you guys practice? I will do anything!" you beg. "Well I guess, but no promises, they have to be okay with you staying." he tell you with a serious tone. "I will be on my very best behavior I promise!" you tell him. After two hours have past, it is time for the other boys to come practice. "Hi I'm Harry and this is my best friend y/n" he says when all the boys have walked through the door. "What????!!! you guys are friends??" Louis asks and runs over to hug you. "Yeah we have been best friends for forever" you say, and wink secretively at Harry. "is it alright if I stay and watch?" you ask. "yeah no problem!!" Louis screams, and looks to the other boys for approval, which they willingly give. "Alright boys, let's get down to business, soon we will be moving in to that house, and we can go from there. We move in tomorrow right?" Liam asks. "yeah I believe so" Harry says. "Great! And I do believe you will be joining us?" Niall asks you. "yeah guys I will be there too!" you say, full of joy. "YESSSS!" Louis screams. "did you guys ever audition for the x factor before?" you ask. "Well I have! But I believe I am the only one." Liam says. "great, this is my first time too! So can you give me some pointers?" you ask Liam. "oh I'd love too!" he says, and pulls you aside. "man, is she really your friend? She's beautiful! And I really thought I would never see her again!" Louis asks Harry. "yeah man, and trust me, she's crazy about you." he says with a wink. "are you seriously?" Louis asks, getting excited. "yes, completely." he says and pulls his even further away. "well should I ask her on a date??" Louis asks. "she's my best friend, and I couldn't stand to see her hurt, so please promise me that you will take the time to get to know her before you ask her on a date." Harry says. "alright man" Louis says, and brings him in to a hug. "well I also gotta know you are a good guy, but I already can tell we will be very good friends." Harry says, and they walk back towards the rest of the group, including you and Liam. "Come on, let's hear each of you sing" you say, and look to Liam first. "Alright" he says, and starts to sing his audition song. Niall is next, and you adore his voice. Zayn is after him, and he has a mysterious look to him. Louis asks to sing next and you fall in love with him even more. "Do I have to sing too?" harry asks. "of course Harry!" you say. When Harry starts singing, you make eye contact with Louis, and he moves to stand next to you. "You are so beautiful!" he whispers, and you start to laugh playfully. When the boys are done singing, you go home to pack. "Hazz what should I bring?" you ask him through face time. "Everything you need babe, trust me, we will be there for a very long time" he says. When you hang up, you begin to put all of your cutest clothes in your bag. Finally, after all your things are packed, Harry comes over to spend the night. The next morning, you take an early start to get to the house. After saying goodbye to all of your family, Liam's family picks you up as well as Harry and all the other boys. When you get to the house, you are happy to find that your room is right near Harry's and Louis's. "How about we hang out guys?" Liam says and walks to get Zayn, who has seemed to have gone missing, at which point you walk in your room to unpack your clothes. "Well thats a cute shirt" says Louis from behind you, touching your shoulder. "Ahh!!" you scream, before realizing who it is. "Hahaha it's just me!" he says. "Oh, Hi!" you say. "It's time for me to go audition for the judges" he says, and kisses you gently on the lips. "What was that for?" you ask with a smile. "I am really sorry, please don't tell Harry" he says. "what do you mean? I liked it!" you say and kiss him again. "now go have fun, and good luck!" you say. When the boys all get back to your room, they are thrilled to tell you they made it, but now it is your turn to audition. As you stand in front of the judges, you sing your heart out, and when you are done, they all say yes. As you enter your room, you notice the boys are all waiting there for you. "THEY SAID YES!" you scream. And start to pack your stuff again. Harry is the first to come hug you, but Louis is right behind. When you walk to Harry's room, he starts packing too. When you are finally at the new house, you are the first to find your new room, and you have to you luckily get it all to yourself. "Boo!" Louis screams from behind you, and you jump. "You really have to stop doing this!" you say with a laugh. "Sorry, I enjoy it and you better get used to it because I have the feeling that we will be together for a very long time" he says, and is laughing too. With that, you start to blush. "I can't believe we are going to sing live this week" you say, a little nervously. "Yeah I know, it's crazy" he says, and starts to smile. "I'm so scared! I really can't do it!" you say, and start to pace nervously. "I know you will do fine" he assures you, and leaves the room. A couple minutes later, Zayn walks in the room. "hi." he says. "Ummm hello" you ask. "VAS HAPPENING?" he says. "Oh nothing, I am just unpacking" you say. "That's cool." he says. "yeah I guess so...." you say, and start to turn around. "sorry I am really not good at this" he says. "oh and what's that?" you ask. "talking to gorgeous girls" he says, and you start to blush. "oh well I'm flattered but...." you start to say, and he cuts you off "well I better get going!" he says, and walks out of the door. A couple minutes later, Harry walks through your door. "Well, you seem to be getting very popular among the boys." Harry says and starts to laugh. "Yeah I think that Zayn kid is a little awkward" you say and start to laugh. "he's not awkward! He is so slick." he says, but you get confused. "he was very awkward talking to me a couple minutes ago" you say, but he changes the subject. "what are you going to sing as your first song?" he asks. "Well that's for me to know and you to find out when I perform it" you say, getting some attitude in your voice. "Well aren't you being sassy?" he says, laughing. "LOUIS TOMLINSON IS HERE!" he screams walking through your doing. "come on Lou, let's go get food" Harry says, and leads Louis out of your room. As you put more of your clothes in your drawers, Liam walks in. "Hey y/n!" he says and sits on your bed. "Hey Liam, they left you too?" you ask and start to laugh. "Yeah, but I have the feeling I should get used to it" he says, and picks up a shirt that you dropped on the floor. "Come on, girls night in?" he asks and starts to laugh. "sure, what do you want to do?" you ask. "Let's go get some food!" he says, and starts to head for the kitchen, with you following closely behind. "So, you know Lou is crazy for you, right?" he asks. "I really don't think so, he hasn't really done anything to prove that he does" you say, and start to grow quiet. "I think Zayn does too" he says. "Yeah, well Zayn is very awkward." you say, and open the drawer of what seems to be an endless supply of food. "Yeah well I think that even Harry might have a little crush on you" he says, and starts to tease you. "No he doesn't, we are just best friends and we have been for forever." you tell him. "Well I'm just saying that you might have some trouble because it seems that louis wants to talk to you and Harry is not okay with it" Liam says. "He's just protective" you say, and start to cook some food for the two of you. "We'll I'm not much of a chef, but here you go" you say, handing Liam a plate. "I'm sure it's great! Now, let's talk about this whole Louis situation" he says and gives you a wink. "It's nothing, seriously!" you say, starting to blush. Suddenly, Louis walks through the door. "What are you doing back?" you ask, and he glares at Liam. "Well I am just back early, but sorry if I am interrupting" he says, starting to walk out of the door. "No, I was just leaving, you two should really get to know each other better!" Liam says, winking at you, and he walks out. "So...." Louis says, and sits down next to you at the table. "I love you will you marry me?" he asks and you start to laugh. "I mean I really like you, but isn't it a little soon for that?" you ask, and he blushes. "Sorry, I thought it worked." he says, and reaches his hand up to your face. "you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen" he says, and kisses you. "I'm sorry, I really shouldn't have done that love" he says, and moves slightly away from you. "Why not?" you ask and he moves away a little more. "I mean Harry sure wouldn't like it if...." he starts, but you interrupt him with a kiss. "I'm sure Harry won't care" you say, and continue to kiss him. "Woahhhh dudes get a roooommm!" a boy says in a stoner voice as he walks in the kitchen. "Alright, let's go" you say, and grab his hand. "Where?" he asks, but you just continue to pull him. "An empty staircase?" he asks, when you finally get there. "Yeah, only private place in this building." you say, sitting on the middle step and motioning for him to sit next to you. "I like it." he says, and pulls you into his lap. As you start to kiss him again, he pulls away for a minute, and just begins to stare at you. "How did you find this place?" he asks. "I mean it's just a staircase. But I think it could really come in handy." you say. "Perfect place to hide from Harry, you mean" he says. "Yeah, and I have another idea." you say. "how about for the video diaries from the x factor, you guys do them here" you suggest. "Oh that's absolutely perfect!" he says. "I can even watch." you say. When it is finally time to walk back up to your room, he takes your hand and pulls you up. Suddenly, he kisses you again. "Alright babe, we gotta go tell the boys our idea." he says. "That's PERFECT!" Harry screams. "how exactly did you two think of this?" Niall asks with a wink. "Oh I don't know, we were just walking up the steps and y/n had the great idea" says Louis. Finally, you walk back to your room to go to bed. The next morning rolls around extremely fast. "ALRIGHT LET'S GET READY TO FILM!" harry says, and bangs on your door. Once you are ready, all the boys walk down to the steps, and you are handed a video camera and a stand. "Alright, did any of you get fan questions?" you ask, and Liam hands them to you. Once setting up the camera, you lean against the wall. "Alright, go!" you scream, and press play. As the boys start to talk to the camera, you have to cover your laugh. Louis is being completely insane, and you start to wonder if this is what he is normally like. When the video diary is done, you tell them they did great and turn off the camera. The boys all walk up with you to get to your room, but once there they all go their separate ways, not including Louis. "Louis! What was that?" you ask. "oh I don't know what you are talking about" he says innocently. "you were staring at me that whole time" you say and laugh. "no... I only looked off to my left a couple of times, and it was just a coincidence." he says laughing. "Besides.... Harry was staring at you too" he says. "well not nearly as much" you say. "Well we better keep it away from him that we have... A thing" you say. "Yeah, not so easy when I share a room with him and four other boys" he says. When you walk in your room and get clothes picked out to change in to, Louis steps out of the room, and when you join him again, he has plans to make your dinner. "What do you like to eat?" he asks. "Well I really like carrots." you say. "Oh really?" he asks, and searches the refrigerator for carrots. After he is done cooking, the creation he has made looks absolutely gross, but you try it anyway. "This is the most delicious food I have ever eaten!" you say, not lying at all. "That's good because it looks absolutely disgusting." he says laughing. "you know, I really do adore you" he says and kisses you. "So tell me a secret of yours" you say, and he turns red. "Well I don't really have any secrets" he says. "Oh we both know that's a lie" you say, nudging him. He comes closer to you, and whispers a secret in your ear. "Well that's nothing" you say. When you are done eating, you walk up to your room, where there is a large crowd. "What's going on?" you ask a girl. "Some people are having a singoff." she says, so you push through the crowd step in the door of your room, with Louis right behind. When you get inside, all the other boys are in there too. "How'd you guys get in here" you ask. "You left it unlocked" Zayn says. "Alright, well what are you guys doing in here?" you ask. "They were crowded around outside our room so we came here but then they came here too." says Niall. "Oh, well I would say to make yourself at home but I can see that you already have." you say laughing. Harry Zayn and Liam were spread out on your bed with their shoes off, and Niall was on the chair. "How long do you think they will be out there?" you ask. "I dont know but can we please hang out when they leave?" Harry asks you. "Yeah sure" you say, and shoot Louis a look, but he just nods at you. So, let's just talk I guess, you say. "So how would you all describe each other so far?" you ask. "well Harry is the cheeky flirt!" liam says. "And Liam is the good boy!" Niall say. "Zayn is conceited. Well, he loves looking at himself in the mirror at least" Louis says. "Louis is the funny one." Harry says. "I don't know how I would describe Niall" Liam says, and the rest of the boys agree. "well he loves food, that's for sure." you say. "hmmmm how about you?" Niall asks. "Oh I would describe her as perfect" Louis says, and Harry shoots him a look. "haha well thanks Lou!" you say. "Who is your favorite person in the xfactor house?" you ask, but Louis is the only one who answers. "MARY!" he screams, and you start to laugh. "But.... I love her." Harry says, and this time, Louis shoots HIM a look. "Come on boys lets start to practice!" Liam says. "Can you guys please sing your audition song for me? I never DID get to hear how you sound together!" you ask. "Sure." Zayn says. Liam is the first to start and you can't believe his voice. Suddenly, you realize you are signing your favorite song, Torn. When it is Harry's turn to sing, he looks directly at you, because he knows how much you love his voice. When the song is over, the crowd has vanished, and the boys can finally go back to their room, but louis secretly stays. "Mary isn't really my favorite, you know that, right?" he asks. "Oh, then who is?" you ask. "You obviously. I am just not sure if I can do this to harry though, because I am becoming very close to him and I don't want him to lose all trust he has in me" he says with sorrow in his voice. "Alright. I guess I understand." you say, and walk him to the door. "I.... I think I love you" Louis says once, and turns to walk out the door, shutting the door behind him. Your heart soars. "I can't believe he loves me" you think to yourself, and walk back over to your bed. After a while, you fall asleep, and you are not awakened until there is a knock on your door a few hours later. "Come in" you yell. "The door is locked" Harry says from the other side of the door. You walk over to the door, and notice that you are feeling a little weak. "Are you alright?" he asks. "Yeah I'm fine" you say, and lead him over to your bed, coughing a little bit along the way. "Take a seat" you say and motion towards your bed while you walk to your bag to get a water. "How are you?" he asks and sighs. "I'm good i guess, but you don't sound so good yourself" you say. "Oh I'm fine, just a little tired. I am extremely nervous for our next live performance and I have been losing alot of sleep. I guess I just have a lot on my mind" he says. "Well you shouldn't stress about it, I know you are going to do fine" you say. "I won't, I just know I can't do it." he says. "yes you can, I know you can" you say. "Whatever you say, what are you doing tomorrow" he asks. "Probably hanging with Cher, we are becoming really close" you say. "Can I please rest in here? Someone snores apparently and I am scared it will wake me up" he says. "Harry, YOU snore" you say laughing. "Come on, please?" he asks. "Sure, you can take the chair" you say. "Great! Let me just go get changed and I will be right back!" he says, and sprints out of your room. As you walk to your dresser to get some clothes, the same funny feeling you had starts coming back. You reach in your drawer and pick out a shirt and shorts to wear, and start to change. Once you are changed, your door starts to open, and almost simultaneously, your knees give way, and you head for the floor. "Y/n!" you hear Harry scream, and you hit the floor, almost immediately losing consciousness. When you wake up, you are in the hospital, and all the boys are right by your side, with Cher there too. "Where am I?" you ask. "You fell, we aren't sure what happened but you lost consciousness" Harry says. "How long was I knocked out?" you ask full of fear. "Just over night, the doctors said you must have banged your head pretty hard" Louis says. "I'm such a mess, what caused me to pass out?" you ask. "The doctors arent sure, probably just a virus" says Zayn. "Well I don't want you all to get sick, so you should probably leave" you say. "No!" they all say in unison. "I really love you guys" you say, and bring them in for a hug. "Now, I need to get out of here so I can practice!" you say. "Not so fast young lady!" the doctor says as he walks though the door and in to your room. "I need to perform! I can't be kicked off of the X-Factor!" you say, and everyone else chimes in, in agreement. "Well someone will have to take care of you! You can't be alone if you are going to lose consciousness again." the doctor says. "I can take care of her! I have known her forever and she is my best friend!" Harry says. "Alright, but this is a big responsibility you are taking on" the doctor says. When everyone leaves the room, you get out of the bed and start to get dressed. When you have finished, you walk out of the room and notice that everyone is in the waiting room, including Simon.
